北京2022年冬奥会奖牌，由圆环加圆心构成牌体，形象来源于中国古代同心圆玉璧，共设五环。五环同心，同心归圆，表达了“天地合·人心同”的中华文化内涵，也象征着奥林匹克精神将世界人民聚集在一起，共享冬奥荣光。奖牌造型质朴简洁，体现了北京冬奥会“简约、安全、精彩”的办赛要求，并与北京2008年奥运会奖牌“金镶玉”相呼应，展现了“双奥之城”的文化传承。

奖牌正面中心刻有奥林匹克五环标志，周围刻有北京2022年冬奥会英文全称（XXIV Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022）字样。圆环做打凹处理，取意传统弦纹玉璧，上面浅刻装饰纹样，均来自中国传统纹样，其中冰雪纹表现了冬奥会的特征，祥云纹传达了吉祥的寓意。

奖牌挂带采用传统桑蚕丝织造工艺，冰雪底纹上印有北京冬奥会会徽、核心图形以及“Beijing2022”字样等相关信息。挂带选用红色，与中国春节文化特色相契合，表达对运动员的节日祝福。

本着“两个奥运 同样精彩”的原则，冬残奥会奖牌与冬奥会奖牌选用同样的形象来源，设计一脉相承。奖牌正面中心刻有国际残奥委会标志，周围刻有北京2022年冬残奥会英文全称（Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games）字样及金、银、铜的盲文。

追本溯源 传承创新

Tracing the origin, inheritance and innovation

2020年5月，北京冬奥会和冬残奥会奖牌设计方案面向全球征集后，中央美术学院设计学院教授杭海与产品设计专业教师李文龙、首饰专业教师刘骁以及几位美院的学生组建了奖牌设计小组。设计小组在开展工作伊始便制定了基本策略：一是延续北京2008年奥运会“金镶玉”奖牌的玉文化概念。体现双奥之城的历史脉络。二是对奖牌形态进行创新设计，尝试多种形态的可能。杭海教授曾是2008年奥运会“金镶玉”奖牌的主创团队成员，他同小组成员分享了当年的创作过程，分析了历届奥运会奖牌设计思路，温顾了中国历史文化精髓，大家在热烈讨论之余开始追本溯源，寻找设计灵感。

In May 2020, after the medal design schemes for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and winter Paralympic Games were solicited globally, hang Hai, a professor of the design school of the Central Academy of fine arts, Li Wenlong, a teacher of product design, Liu Xiao, a teacher of jewelry, and several students of the Academy of fine arts formed a medal design team. At the beginning of the work, the design team formulated the basic strategies: first, continue the jade culture concept of "gold inlaid jade" Medal of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Reflect the historical context of the double Olympic city. The second is to carry out innovative design of medal forms and try the possibility of various forms. Professor hang Hai was a member of the main creative team of the "gold inlaid jade" medals of the 2008 Olympic Games. He shared the creative process of that year with the team members, analyzed the design ideas of medals of previous Olympic Games, and reviewed the essence of Chinese history and culture. After heated discussion, everyone began to trace the origin and look for design inspiration.

根据“苍璧礼天，黄琮礼地”的概念，李文龙、刘骁带领部分学生创作了以玉琮为基本造型的奖牌设计方案，尝试在形态优化与新材料的选用等方面有所突破。

小组成员林帆受双环玉璧的启发，构思了两环同心奖牌草案。与此同时，小组成员高艺桐受古代铜镜上的同心圆启发，设计了三环同心圆环奖牌。杭海认为这是两个极具潜质的想法。之后，林帆阅读了大量同心圆环玉璧的文献，以殷墟妇好墓出土的五弦玉璧等为视觉来源，将外围圆环，设计成五弦造型，弦纹之间做打凹处理，以接近五弦玉璧的意象，表达与2008年奥运会奖牌“金镶玉”的玉璧形制的一致性，体现双奥之城的文化联系。据此，高艺桐提出，以中国古代天文图中的“七衡六间图”为视觉来源，体现日月星辰运行的动态意象，取名“五环同心”寓意“天地合，人心同”的人文内涵。

Inspired by the double ring jade, team member Lin Fan conceived the two ring concentric medal draft. At the same time, team member Gao Yitong, inspired by the concentric circles on ancient bronze mirrors, designed a three ring concentric ring medal. Hang Hai believes that these are two ideas with great potential. After that, Lin Fan read a large number of documents on concentric ring jade. Taking the five string jade unearthed from Fuhao tomb in Yin Ruins as the visual source, Lin fan designed the peripheral ring into five string shape, and concave the string patterns, so as to approach the image of the five string jade, express the consistency with the jade shape of the "gold inlaid jade" Medal of the 2008 Olympic Games, and reflect the cultural connection of the city of double Olympics. Accordingly, Gao Yitong proposed that the "seven balances and six rooms map" in the ancient Chinese astronomical map be used as the visual source to reflect the dynamic image of the operation of the sun, moon and stars. It is named "five rings with one heart", which implies the humanistic connotation of "harmony between heaven and earth and the same people".

经过反复研讨，设计小组确定了“五环同心”系列方案。此后又经过一个月的紧张设计与打样，最终在2020年6月底提交给北京冬奥组委八套奖牌设计方案。

After repeated discussion, the design team determined the "five ring concentric" series scheme. After another month of intensive design and proofing, the eight sets of medal design schemes were finally submitted to the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee at the end of June 2020.

功夫不负有心人。两个多月后，中央美院设计小组欣喜得到通知，“五环同心”方案入围！2021年7月13日，北京冬奥组委确认了奖牌的最终设计制作。
