Li Dongsheng, born in Yushu, Jilin Province, is the Vice Chairman of the Art Committee of the Chinese Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Artists Network, an outstanding representative artist of world culture, and the Best Calligraphy and Painting Mentor of the First China Art Golden Horse Award. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Art Committee of the China Calligraphy and Painting Trading Center, the Dean of the Hainan Branch of Beijing Jinzhengde Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and a Visiting Professor at Tianjin University of Arts and Design. He serves as the Principal of Haikou Dongsheng Calligraphy and Painting Training Center and the Director of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the Hainan Provincial Private Entrepreneurs Association. He holds the position of Deputy Director of the Cultural Department at the Hainan Center of the Russia-China Belt and Road Financial Investment Federation. He is the Cultural Ambassador for China and Malaysia, one of the first batch of think tank experts for a cultural powerhouse, a National First-Class Artist in Fine Arts, a National First-Class Calligrapher, and a Senior Teacher of Chinese Standard Font Writing. He has repeatedly won first prize, gold medal, special award, special gold medal, and special honor award in national calligraphy and painting competitions. He is a national gift calligrapher and a national treasure-level art master.
