2021年10月13日，由文化和旅游部、国家中医药管理局与广西壮族自治区人民政府共同主办的2021中国-东盟传统医药健康旅游国际论坛(以下简称“巴马论坛”)在世界长寿之乡——广西巴马开幕。

文化和旅游部副部长张旭、广西壮族自治区副主席李彬出席论坛开幕式并致辞。国家中医药管理局副局长、中国中医科学院院长、中国工程院院士黄璐琦，印度尼西亚共和国旅游与创意经济部部长桑迪亚加·乌诺，老挝人民民主共和国卫生部部长本芬·彭玛莱西，泰王国卫生部副部长索蓬·梅暾作了视频致辞。来自东盟各国卫生、旅游主管部门高官，部分东盟国家驻华使领馆代表，中国相关省市卫生、旅游主管部门代表，中国和东盟健康旅游领域的专家，香港地区代表等约250位嘉宾以线下或线上的形式出席论坛。

About 250 guests, including senior officials from the health and tourism authorities of ASEAN countries, representatives of embassies and consulates of some ASEAN countries in China, representatives of health and tourism authorities of relevant provinces and cities in China, experts in the field of health tourism between China and ASEAN, and representatives of Hong Kong, attended the Forum offline or online.

张旭在致辞中表示,中国与东盟国家互为重要的旅游客源地和旅游目的地。新冠肺炎疫情在全球的暴发，对包括中国和东盟各国在内的世界旅游业造成了严重的冲击。中国成功抗击新冠肺炎疫情的实践证明，传统中医药对抗击新冠肺炎起着非常重要的作用。在这样的背景下，探讨中国与东盟各国深化传统医药与健康旅游的合作，促进传统医药与旅游业融合发展，提升各国人民的健康福祉，具有重要的现实意义。张旭建议中国与东盟各国要加强疫情防控常态化下的国际旅游合作，共同推进传统医药与旅游产业融合发展，进一步深化中国-东盟健康旅游合作机制。

巴马论坛每两年举办一届，今年是第四届。本届论坛以“疫情防控常态化下传统医药与旅游产业的融合发展”为主题，专家学者将交流中国与东盟各国在新冠肺炎疫情背景下传统医药健康旅游的产业现状，探讨疫情防控常态化下传统医药与旅游产业融合发展的趋势与路径以及健康旅游产业的体系建设，展望中国与东盟国家健康旅游持续发展及国际合作的愿景，为推动构建更为紧密的中国—东盟命运共同体作出积极贡献。
