中国作家协会名誉副主席张炯在贺信中说： “蔡氏四诗人”（蔡诗国、蔡诗华、蔡诗峰、蔡小青）同登诗坛传佳话，至今31年了。1990年8月16日新华社播发济南军区记者站站长蒋永武、通讯员邓贞君采写的“战士蔡诗华兄妹四人同登诗坛传佳话”新闻通稿被《人民日报》等转载，让人难忘。斗转星移，时间或许会淹没许多。“蔡氏四诗人”坚持诗歌创作的佳话还在续写，成为当今社会很多人的敬佩和仰慕对象。

“蔡氏四诗人”出生于湖北省广水市蔡河镇徐店村蔡家冲一个农民家庭，为“农民诗人”蔡诗国（笔名蔡诗奎）、“战士诗人”蔡诗华、“忧患诗人”蔡诗峰、“教坛女诗人”蔡小青，现分别在老家蔡家冲务农、中国邮政报社新媒体人、吉林银行延边分行职员、河南沁阳市灯塔街原第二小学教师。因都热爱写诗，且皆为中共党员，兄妹之间以诗唱和，相互鼓励，勉力洗志，30多年来先后出版了《蔡氏兄妹四人诗选》《蔡诗国兄妹诗选》等30多部诗集。目前蔡诗华、蔡诗峰是中国作家协会会员、蔡诗国是湖北省作协会员、蔡小青是河南省作协会员。
