8月23日，文化和旅游部党组理论学习中心组在北大红楼参观“光辉伟业 红色序章——北大红楼与中国共产党早期北京革命活动主题展”，并召开党史学习教育专题学习会议。文化和旅游部党组书记、部长胡和平主持会议并讲话，党组成员李群、张旭、王旭东、腊翊凡、饶权、王晓峰作交流发言。中央第十五指导组副组长吴佳松等出席会议。

北大红楼是李大钊、陈独秀、毛泽东等中国共产党的创始人早期开展革命活动的重要场所。展览通过一间间展厅、一幅幅图片、一件件文物、一处处实景，全面展现了中国共产党早期北京革命活动的光辉历史。部党组成员及机关司局负责同志重温早期中国共产党人推动马克思主义在中国传播、酝酿和筹建中国共产党等革命活动和历史事件，回顾反帝反封建专制的激情岁月，更加深刻感受到开天辟地大事变所孕育的伟大精神、蕴含的巨大力量，内心受到震撼，精神受到洗礼。

胡和平指出，北大红楼在中国革命历史上发挥着巨大作用，是新文化运动的崛起地，是五四运动的重要策源地，是早期马克思主义的重要传播地，是北京的共产党早期组织诞生地，对推动创建全国共产党组织发挥了重要作用。北大红楼也是伟大建党精神的早期孕育地，对伟大建党精神的形成具有重要的标志性意义。要通过参观学习，从中汲取智慧和力量，进一步深化党史学习教育，切实做到学史明理、学史增信、学史崇德、学史力行，为建设社会主义文化强国、实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦贡献更大力量。

Hu Heping pointed out that the Red Mansion of Peking University has played a great role in the history of the Chinese revolution. It is the rising place of the new culture movement, an important source of the May 4th movement, an important dissemination place of early Marxism, the birthplace of the early organization of the Communist Party in Beijing, and has played an important role in promoting the establishment of the Communist Party organization of the whole country. The red building of Peking University is also the early breeding ground of the great party building spirit, which has important symbolic significance for the formation of the great party building spirit. 胡和平强调，回顾党的百年奋斗历程，马克思主义使中国共产党拥有了科学的世界观和方法论，拥有了认识世界、改造世界的强大思想武器，使中国这个古老的东方大国创造了人类历史上前所未有的发展奇迹。马克思主义是颠扑不破的真理，要深刻认识中国共产党为什么能，中国特色社会主义为什么好，归根到底是因为马克思主义行。习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想是马克思主义基本原理同中国具体实际相结合、同中华优秀传统文化相结合的最新成果，是当代中国马克思主义、21世纪马克思主义。要学习好贯彻好习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，自觉做到学懂弄通做实。要弘扬伟大建党精神，从中汲取继续前进的力量，把党建设得更加坚强有力。

Hu Heping stressed that looking back on the party's hundred years of struggle, Marxism has enabled the Communist Party of China to have a scientific world outlook and methodology, have a powerful ideological weapon to understand and transform the world, and enable China, an ancient Oriental power, to create an unprecedented development miracle in human history. Marxism is an irrefutable truth. We should deeply understand why the Communist Party of China can and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is good. In the final analysis, it is because of Marxism. Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics is the latest achievement of the combination of Marx's basic principle with China's concrete practice and the combination of China's excellent traditional culture. It is the contemporary China's Marx doctrine and the twenty-first Century Marx doctrine. China should learn and carry out Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics and consciously learn to understand and make it real. We should carry forward the great party building spirit, draw strength from it, and build the party stronger and more powerful.

胡和平要求，要深入学习贯彻习近平总书记“七一”重要讲话等一系列重要讲话精神，坚持学以致用、知行合一，认真履职尽责，增强使命担当。文化和旅游系统红色资源富集，保护好、管理好、运用好红色资源，是传承红色基因、把红色江山世世代代传下去的必然要求，是继承革命文化、坚定文化自信的必然要求，是汲取强大精神力量、推进文化强国建设的必然要求，是我们必须承担的政治任务和历史重任。要立足建设文化强国、开启实施“十四五”规划和瞄准2035年远景目标，继续提高革命文物保护利用质量和水平，创作演出更好更多的红色文艺精品，进一步推动红色旅游提质增效，让红色资源充分发挥作用，让红色血脉代代相传。
