10月19日晚，民族歌剧《半条红军被》亮相第四届中国歌剧节，这是湖南作品首次登上中国歌剧节。

《半条红军被》由湖南省委宣传部指导，长沙市委宣传部、长沙市文化旅游广电局出品，长沙歌舞剧院、长沙交响乐团创作演出。该剧已荣获文化和旅游部2020—2021年度“中国民族歌剧传承发展工程”重点扶持剧目和文化和旅游部“庆祝中国共产党成立100周年舞台艺术精品创作工程”重点扶持作品，也是湖南省、长沙市向中国共产党成立100周年献礼的重点作品。

Half the Red Army quilt was directed by the Publicity Department of Hunan provincial Party committee, produced by the Publicity Department of Changsha Municipal Party committee and Changsha Bureau of culture, tourism, radio, film and television, and created and performed by Changsha song and dance theater and Changsha Symphony Orchestra. The play has won the key supporting works of the Ministry of culture and tourism's 2020-2021 "Chinese National Opera inheritance and development project" and the Ministry of culture and tourism's "stage art creation project to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China". It is also a key work of Hunan Province and Changsha City to present the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

《半条红军被》充分挖掘了湖南本土红色资源，以具有红色历史记忆和精神标识的长征故事进行再创作，见证着共产党人与人民群众荣辱与共、生死相依的鱼水深情，见证着共产党始终依靠群众、为了群众的初心使命，也见证着“江山就是人民、人民就是江山”的伟大主题。
