5月6日，茅台官方发布公告称，本轮茅台共招聘335人，其中和义兴酒业分公司招聘人数最多，达260人，贵州茅台股份公司招60人。

值得一提的是，本次招考中，除了笔试，还需要通过体能测试，项目为男子1000米跑、女子800米跑，成绩4分30秒以内判定为合格。

茅台还特别提到，应聘者的毕业院校所在地需属贵州省，同时招聘门槛也有所放宽。此前茅台招聘制酒工时曾提出要面向211”或双一流”高校毕业生招聘，此次要求为大学本科及以上学历即可。

对于招聘需要体能测试的疑问，茅台负责招聘的工作人员接受媒体采访时表示，本次招聘面向贵州省内高校，对体测有要求主要因为工作是体力劳动，只要能过体测过体检就没问题。

4月27日晚，贵州茅台酒股份有限公司公布了2021年第一季度财报，其中营业收入272.71亿元，同比增长11.74％，净利润139.54亿元，同比增长6.57％，而去年第一季度同比增幅分别为12.54％、16.69％。

渠道方面，直销渠道收入47.74亿元，批发渠道(经销商渠道)收入224.57亿元，占比约82％。
