11月4日，首届二十国集团文化部长视频会议成功举办。会议由沙特文化大臣白德尔·阿勒沙特主持，二十国集团各成员及西班牙、约旦、新加坡等嘉宾国文化部长或代表以及联合国教科文组织、国际博物馆协会等国际组织负责人出席。会议以“文化经济的兴起：新模式”为主题，围绕疫情防控常态化背景下的文化保护与可持续发展以及文化助推经济发展及国际交流等主题进行了深入交流。

On November 4, the first G20 cultural ministers' video conference was successfully held. The meeting was presided over by the Saudi Minister of culture, Bader Al Saud, and attended by the ministers of culture or representatives of the G20 members, Spain, Jordan, Singapore and other guest countries, as well as the heads of UNESCO, the International Association of museums and other international organizations. With the theme of "the rise of Cultural Economy: a new model", the meeting held in-depth exchanges on the themes of cultural protection and sustainable development under the background of normalization of epidemic prevention and control, as well as cultural boosting economic development and international exchanges.

文化和旅游部部长胡和平代表中方出席会议并发言，他介绍了中方统筹疫情防控和文化领域复工复产复业的相关举措。胡和平强调，二十国集团成员应加强合作，有效应对全球性挑战，并倡议各方应坚持开放包容，互学互鉴，打造人类命运共同体；坚持与时俱进，守正创新，促进文化可持续发展；坚持放眼长远，活化应用，做好文化遗产保护和传承。

Hu Heping, Minister of culture and tourism, attended the meeting on behalf of China and delivered a speech. He introduced China's measures to coordinate epidemic prevention and control and resume work and production in the cultural field. Hu Heping stressed that G20 members should strengthen cooperation to effectively cope with global challenges, and advocated that all parties should adhere to openness and inclusiveness, learn from each other, and build a community of shared future for mankind; adhere to the principle of keeping pace with the times, keep innovation and promote sustainable cultural development; adhere to long-term vision, activate application, and do a good job in the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage.

各国文化部长及国际组织负责人一致肯定文化对激发经济活力、实现公平和可持续发展以及增进各国人民福祉具有重要作用。各国应加强国际合作，加快文化产业疫后复苏，为后疫情时代全球经济和社会发展做出贡献。

Ministers of culture and heads of international organizations unanimously affirmed that culture plays an important role in stimulating economic vitality, achieving fair and sustainable development and enhancing the well-being of people in all countries. All countries should strengthen international cooperation, accelerate the recovery of cultural industry after the epidemic, and contribute to the global economic and social development in the post epidemic era.
