在中国共产党成立100周年之际，为进一步促进合唱学术和艺术繁荣，提升城市文化美誉度，杭州市文化广电旅游局、浙江省合唱协会将在5月14-17日举办“最美歌声献给党——首届中国杭州合唱指挥大会暨合唱艺术节”。

本次合唱指挥大会设有大师课、工作坊、论坛、音乐会等环节，面向全国开放，其中开幕式将由中国著名合唱团爱乐男声合唱团进行展演，该合唱团团长为戴玉强、指挥孙毅，被国外媒体誉为“一支国家级的艺术家群体队伍，代表亚洲乃至世界高水准的演唱”，闭幕式将由中国北洋合唱团展演。
