中国著名画家孙泳新受国际生态大会组织会委托，邀请，为大会创作生态画作举办画展。出席画展开幕式的有联合国66届联大主席纳西尔，联合国副秘书长安娜，柬埔寨第一副首相，二届生态大会主席索安，亚洲政党创始主席何赛，印度尼西亚国会议长马祖基·阿里，塞舌尔共和国总统詹姆斯，尼泊尔总理马德哈夫，联合国生态生命安全科学院院长鲁萨克，上海合作组织秘书长张德广等近50位政党领袖和议会、政府领导人，为画展剪彩，同时参观了画展。
