“中韩文化交流年”开幕式在韩国举行

“中韩文化交流年”开幕式日前在韩国首尔举行。中国文化和旅游部部长胡和平以视频方式致辞，中国驻韩大使邢海明、韩国文化体育观光部长官黄熙出席并致辞。

The opening ceremony of "China ROK cultural exchange year" was held in Seoul, South Korea. Hu Heping, Minister of culture and tourism of China, delivered a video speech. Xing Haiming, Chinese ambassador to the ROK, and Huang Xi, Minister of culture, sports and tourism of the ROK, attended and delivered a speech.

胡和平通过视频致辞表示，举办“中韩文化交流年”体现了两国元首对中韩关系的深切关怀、对文化交流的高度重视，反映了两国人民扩大交流的共同心声、增进理解的美好愿景。我们愿与韩方一道，携手办好“中韩文化交流年”，加强文化交流和旅游合作，扩大人员往来，为推动中韩战略合作伙伴关系发展注入新的活力。

Hu Heping said in a video speech that the holding of the "China ROK cultural exchange year" reflects the deep concern of the two heads of state for China ROK relations and the great importance they attach to cultural exchanges, and reflects the common aspiration of the two peoples to expand exchanges and enhance understanding. We are willing to work with the ROK to jointly hold the "China ROK cultural exchange year", strengthen cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation, expand personnel exchanges, and inject new vitality into the development of China ROK strategic cooperative partnership.

邢海明表示，“中韩文化交流年”的启动，为即将步入而立之年的中韩关系提供了进一步跃升的重要契机。在当前疫情持续反复、加剧国际社会动荡和割裂的背景下，中韩双方加强文化交流，更具特殊非凡意义。

Xing Haiming said that the launch of the "China ROK cultural exchange year" provides an important opportunity for the further leap forward of China ROK relations, which is about to enter its infancy. Under the background that the current epidemic continues to repeat and exacerbates the turbulence and fragmentation of the international community, it is of special significance for China and South Korea to strengthen cultural exchanges.

黄熙在致辞中说，明年是北京冬奥会和冬残奥会的举办之年，也是韩中建交30周年，两国交流与合作正迎来新的契机。希望通过大力开展文化交流，实现共同繁荣，将灿烂文化留给子孙后代。

In his speech, Huang Xi said that next year will be the year of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and the winter Paralympic Games, as well as the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the ROK and China. Bilateral exchanges and cooperation are ushering in new opportunities. It is hoped that through vigorous cultural exchanges, common prosperity will be achieved and the splendid culture will be left to future generations.

以韩美林、朴大成为代表的中韩两国文化交流大使以线上线下结合方式出席开幕式。现场嘉宾共同观看了中韩民众祈愿两国关系更好发展的视频。邢海明、黄熙还和韩国儿童一起点燃了孔明灯。

The cultural exchange ambassadors of China and South Korea, represented by Han Meilin and park Da, attended the opening ceremony in a combination of online and offline. The guests watched a video of Chinese and Korean people praying for better development of bilateral relations. Xing Haiming and Huang Xi also lit Kong Mingdeng with Korean children.
