陈冲（Joan Chen），华语影视女演员、电影导演，奥斯卡金像奖评委，好莱坞编剧家协会会员，毕业于上海外国语学院。

1961年4月26日出生于中国上海市，陈冲从小生长在一个医务工作者家庭，受父母影响，养成爱读书的习惯。她读小学时，开始学习弹钢琴、拉手风琴。读中学时，参加了学校剧团的活动，演出了许多文艺节目，为日后的演出打下了坚实的基础。

Born in Shanghai, China on April 26, 1961, Chen Chong grew up in a family of medical workers. Influenced by his parents, he developed the habit of loving reading. When she was in primary school, she began to learn to play the piano and accordion. When I was in middle school, I participated in the activities of the school troupe and performed many literary and artistic programs, which laid a solid foundation for future performances.

1978年她考取上海外国语学院，主修英美文学。为摆脱成名困惑，1981年赴美留学，通过奖学金，图书馆，餐厅打工来维持生活。1981年，就读于纽约州立大学新帕尔兹分校，但发现电影仍然是自己的爱好，此后在加州州立大学北岭分校学习电影制作，1986年起，只身勇闯好莱坞。

In 1978, she was admitted to Shanghai Institute of foreign languages, majoring in British and American literature. In order to get rid of the confusion of fame, he studied in the United States in 1981 and maintained his life by working in scholarships, libraries and restaurants.
