12月4日至6日，文化和旅游部党组书记、部长胡和平就统筹疫情防控和文化、旅游恢复发展，加强长江文化保护传承弘扬工作，赴湖北省武汉市和宜昌市开展调研。胡和平实地考察了武汉夜间长江旅游、湖北省博物馆、黄鹤楼景区、武汉市人民剧院、江汉关博物馆、盘龙城国家考古遗址公园，走访了三游洞景区、三峡人家景区、许家冲村、屈原故里文化旅游区，与基层群众和工作人员深入交流。调研期间，湖北省委书记应勇，省委副书记、省长王晓东与胡和平座谈交流。湖北省委常委、宜昌市委书记周霁，湖北省副省长张文兵一同调研。

Hu Heping visited Wuhan night Yangtze River tourism, Hubei Provincial Museum, Huanghelou scenic spot, Wuhan people's theater, jianghanguan Museum, panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park, and visited three scenic spots, Three Gorges family scenic spot, Xujiachong village and Quyuan's hometown cultural tourism area, in-depth exchanges with grassroots people and staff. During the investigation, Ying Yong, Secretary of Hubei provincial Party committee, Wang Xiaodong, deputy secretary and governor of Hubei Province, had a discussion and exchange with Hu Heping. Zhou Ji, member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Yichang municipal Party committee, and Zhang Wenbing, vice governor of Hubei Province, made an investigation together.

胡和平指出，在抗击新冠肺炎疫情斗争中，湖北省委、省政府和湖北人民识大体、顾大局，打赢了疫情防控人民战争、总体战、阻击战，为阻断疫情蔓延、争取抗疫主动作出了巨大牺牲和重大贡献。在常态化疫情防控形势下，湖北省委、省政府统筹推进疫情防控和复工复产复业，出台多项惠企纾困举措，推动文化和旅游市场总体呈现持续回暖、全面复苏的良好态势。特别是开展“与爱同行 惠游湖北”活动感恩全国人民，让游客得实惠、助企业渡难关，取得良好社会效益和经济效益。文化和旅游部要认真落实习近平总书记到湖北考察新冠肺炎疫情防控工作时重要指示精神，加大对湖北文化建设和旅游发展支持力度，帮助解决实际困难和具体问题。

胡和平强调，党的十九届五中全会对“十四五”时期我国经济社会发展作出全面部署，明确提出文化建设主要目标和重点任务。文化和旅游系统要坚持以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，全面贯彻党的十九届五中全会精神，谋划好“十四五”时期文化和旅游工作，提供优秀文艺作品、文化产品和优质旅游产品，大力加强文化赋能建设、发挥旅游带动作用，持续推进文化和旅游融合发展，为社会主义现代化国家建设贡献力量。

Hu Heping stressed that the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee made a comprehensive plan for China's economic and social development during the "14th five year plan" period, and clearly put forward the main objectives and key tasks of cultural construction. 胡和平强调，湖北是文化大省、旅游大省、文物大省，也是长江经济带重要省份。要深入贯彻落实习近平总书记在全面推动长江经济带发展座谈会上的重要讲话精神，保护好、传承好、弘扬好长江文化，加强长江文化研究阐释，强化考古发掘和资源调查，提升文物保护利用和非物质文化遗产保护传承水平，推进长江国际黄金旅游带核心区建设，让长江文化保护传承弘扬为湖北文化建设、旅游发展增光添彩。

We should thoroughly implement the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Forum on comprehensively promoting the development of the Yangtze River economic belt, protect, inherit and carry forward the Yangtze River culture, strengthen the study and interpretation of the Yangtze River culture, intensify archaeological excavation and resource investigation, enhance the protection and utilization of cultural relics and the protection and inheritance level of intangible cultural heritage, and promote the construction of the core area of the Yangtze River international gold tourism belt. Let the protection and inheritance of the Yangtze River culture be carried forward to add luster to the cultural construction and tourism development of Hubei Province.
