Emma Watson was born in Paris on April 15, 1990. Her parents are lawyers who graduated from Cambridge University. At the age of five, her parents divorced because of their different personalities. After that, Emma and her younger brother Alex Watson settled in London with their father.

In 2009, she was nominated for the best actress award of the 19th MTV film awards with the film Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. 2019年，与西尔莎·罗南、佛罗伦斯·珀合作出演以美国南北战争为背景的剧情电影《小妇人》上映 ，她在片中饰演温柔如水的大姐梅格 。

In 2019, she co starred with sylsa Ronan and Florence POE in the American Civil War Drama little women, in which she played MEG, the gentle elder sister.

2020年7月25日，在世界文化艺术界联合会“每日一星”评选活动中被评为“文明和谐星”。
