姜昆，男，1950年10月19日出生于北京，祖籍山东烟台。毕业于中央电大。中共党员，国家一级演员，相声演员，中国曲艺家协会主席。中国文学艺术界联合会第十届荣誉委员。

Jiang Kun, male, was born in Beijing on October 19, 1950. His ancestral home is Yantai, Shandong. Graduated from Central Radio and Television University. Party member of the Communist Party of China, national first-class actor, crosstalk actor and chairman of China quyi Association. Honorary member of the 10th China Federation of literary and artistic circles.

1983年第一次登上春晚舞台担任主持人并表演相声《错走了这一步》和《对口词》而走红。1984年担任央视春晚主持人并与李文华表演相声《夸家乡》等。1985年担任央视春晚主持人并与李金斗表演相声《看电视》；同年担任中国广播艺术团说唱团团长，被选为中国青年联合会常委、曲艺家协会的副主席。1992年荣获第二届中国金唱片奖戏曲曲艺类奖。2009年被中国名人报道中国相声小品人才库收录。2003年被中国文联授予全国“德艺双馨”艺术家的光荣称号。

1998年他出版的自传体的《笑面人生》一书，第一年销售突破四十五万册大关，在中国销售排行榜上名列第二。

1998年，年近五十的姜昆又有了新的安排：创办中国相声网，把世界的笑引向中国，把中国的笑洒向世界。

2004年担任中国文联曲艺家协会分党组书记、副主席。

2009年被中国名人报道中国相声小品人才库收录。
