5月1 3日，祁将军去江西玉山考察时，那里的生态山水又激起了他的诗人豪情，一气儿写出了三十多行的《山水情深》并通过手机短信给我发来，从中让我由衷地佩服了他那六十多岁老人的年轻之心和手机按出三十多行诗句的耐心。

On May 13, when general Qi visited Yushan, Jiangxi Province, the ecological landscape aroused his poet's enthusiasm. He wrote more than 30 lines of "deep love for mountains and rivers" and sent it to me by SMS, which made me sincerely admire his young heart of more than 60 years old and his patience of pressing more than 30 lines of poetry on his mobile phone.

祁荣祥，海军少将军衔。1969年起开始发表文学作品和理论文章，散见于《人民日报》、《解放军报》 、《光明日报》 、《诗刊》 、《解放军文艺》 等几十家报刊，作品曾被北京、长征、内蒙、华龄、作家、红旗等多家出版社收集出版，屡有获奖。姊妹诗集《一路想你》出版后，好评如潮，被各界人士广为传诵。
Qi Rongxiang is a major general in the Navy.
