3月23日，文化和旅游部部长胡和平会见韩国驻华大使张夏成，双方就进一步深化两国文化和旅游交流与合作等深入交换意见。

On March 23, Hu Heping, Minister of culture and tourism, met with South Korean ambassador to China Zhang Xiacheng. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on further deepening cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

胡和平表示，中韩是重要近邻和合作伙伴。新冠肺炎疫情发生以来，习近平主席和文在寅总统保持密切沟通，达成一系列重要共识，为两国关系发展指明了方向。文化和旅游交流是两国关系的重要组成部分，为巩固两国友好交往和加深人民间相互理解发挥了积极作用。2021年和2022年是两国领导人共同确定的“中韩文化交流年”，中方愿与韩方共同努力，按照两国领导人达成的一系列重要共识，推动中韩文化和旅游交流向更高水平、更深层次发展，进一步深化务实合作。

Hu Heping said that China and South Korea are important close neighbors and cooperative partners. Since the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak, President Xi Jinping has maintained close communication with moon Jae in the president and reached a series of important consensus, which has pointed out the direction for the development of bilateral relations. Cultural and tourism exchanges are an important part of bilateral relations and play a positive role in consolidating friendly exchanges and deepening mutual understanding between the two peoples. 2021 and 2022 are the "years of cultural exchanges between China and South Korea" jointly determined by the leaders of the two countries. China is willing to work with South Korea to promote cultural and tourism exchanges between China and South Korea to a higher level and deeper level and further deepen practical cooperation in accordance with a series of important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries.

张夏成表示，韩方高度重视韩中关系，两国文化和旅游交流为加强相互理解信赖、增进人民间感情发挥着重要作用。韩方愿与中方积极开展“中韩文化交流年”各项活动，共同推动“东亚文化之都”城市交流。韩方支持中方举办2022年北京冬奥会。2022年还是韩中建交30周年，韩方将与中方加强沟通，开展一系列富有成效的文化和旅游交流与合作，推动韩中关系不断发展。

Zhang Xiacheng said that the ROK attaches great importance to ROK China relations, and cultural and tourism exchanges between the two countries play an important role in strengthening mutual understanding and trust and enhancing people's feelings. The ROK is willing to actively carry out various activities of the "year of cultural exchanges between China and South Korea" with the Chinese side to jointly promote urban exchanges of the "cultural capital of East Asia". South Korea supports China in hosting the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. 2022 is also the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the ROK and China. The ROK will strengthen communication with China, carry out a series of fruitful cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation, and promote the continuous development of ROK China relations.
