“库大爷”本名叫阿列克塞安德列耶维奇库普措夫，是我结识的俄罗斯远东地区海参崴的伙伴。论实际年龄，他比我大不了四五岁，可俄国人都长的老象，我们又不习惯叫他那一大串的名字，所以我就叫他“库大爷”。他很高兴，也给我起了个俄文名字叫“高尔基”。

The real name of "Ku Da Ye" is Alexei andreyevich kupcov. He is a partner of Vladivostok in the Far East of Russia whom I met. In terms of actual age, he is no more than four or five years older than me, but the Russians are all old elephants, and we are not used to calling him a long list of names, so I call him "Uncle Ku". He was very happy and gave me a Russian name called Gorky.

“库大爷”是俄罗斯远东海洋研究所的技术所长，我们相识时，苏联刚解体，他们这样的俄罗斯科技人员也正在寻找自己的生活出路，而我们那时边贸正火，也在积极寻找贸易伙伴，于是一拍即合，他就领着我们去莫斯科、乌克兰等地帮助介绍有实力的俄罗斯伙伴。

"Ku Da Ye" is the technical director of Russia's Far East Institute of Oceanography.
