乌兰托娅出生在呼伦贝尔市海拉尔区，自幼善于模仿，性格也很开朗。学校每次有演出时总能看到她的身影，她在读中学时被老师和同学们称为百灵鸟。上了高中后，乌兰托娅开始专门学习音乐，那时她学的是美声。

Ulantoya was born in Hailar District, Hulunbuir city. She was good at imitation since she was a child, and she was very cheerful. Every time there is a performance in school, we can always see her figure. When she was in middle school, she was called lark by teachers and students. After high school, ulantoya began to study music. At that time, she studied bel canto.

1997年，乌兰托娅高中毕业，便只身到北京学习，她主动上门找到王明绮老师学习音乐1年多。

In 1997, after graduating from high school, ulantoya went to Beijing to study alone. She came to Wang Mingqi to study music for more than one year.

1998年，乌兰托娅亲自创作了自己的第一首歌曲《留梦》。

2005年，参加黑龙江青年歌手电视大奖赛夺得冠军，

2016年4月，乌兰托娅在北京举办新专辑《遇上你是咱俩的缘》新闻发布会；4月29日，《套马杆》演唱者乌兰托娅在京宣布回归老东家广州新月，一别5年后，乌兰托娅再度拿回《套马杆》唯一合法演唱权 ；7月，录制杭州G20峰会主题歌曲《把世界握紧》 。

In April 2016, ulantoya held a press conference on her new album "meeting you is our destiny" in Beijing; on April 29, ulantoya, the singer of "horse pole", announced her return to her old owner Guangzhou Xinyue in Beijing. Five years after her farewell, ulantoya regained the sole legal singing right of "horse pole"; in July, she recorded the theme song "hold the world tight" of Hangzhou G20 summit.

2019年6月29日，推出个人单曲《我爱民族风》 。
