1月28日，文化和旅游部部长胡和平会见委内瑞拉驻华大使普拉森西亚，双方就进一步加强文化和旅游合作深入交换意见。

On January 28, Hu Heping, Minister of culture and tourism, met with Venezuelan ambassador to China prasencia. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on further strengthening cultural and tourism cooperation.

胡和平表示，中委是全面战略伙伴，两国人民情谊深厚。2020年4月，习近平主席与马杜罗总统通电话，两国元首达成重要共识，为发展双边关系指明了方向。近年来，中委文化和旅游合作发展顺利，为深化传统友谊和互信发挥了积极作用。中共十九届五中全会对中国“十四五”时期经济社会发展作出了系统谋划和战略部署，提出要实行高水平对外开放、开拓合作共赢新局面，要加强对外文化交流和多层次文明对话，这将为中委合作带来更加广阔的前景。中方愿与委方携手，推动文化和旅游领域务实合作，使两国民众享受更多优质的文化和旅游产品，惠及经济发展，助力民心相通。

Hu Heping said that China and Venezuela are comprehensive strategic partners with profound friendship between the two peoples. In April 2020, President Xi Jinping and President Maduro spoke on the telephone, and the two heads of state reached important consensus, pointing out the direction for the development of bilateral relations. In recent years, China Venezuela cultural and tourism cooperation has developed smoothly, which has played a positive role in deepening traditional friendship and mutual trust. The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee made a systematic plan and strategic deployment for China's economic and social development during the "14th five year plan" period, proposing to implement high-level opening up, open up a new situation of win-win cooperation, and strengthen cultural exchanges and multi-level dialogue among civilizations, which will bring broader prospects for the cooperation between the CPC and Venezuela. China is willing to join hands with Venezuela to promote pragmatic cooperation in the field of culture and tourism, so that the people of the two countries can enjoy more high-quality cultural and tourism products, benefit economic development, and help the people to connect.

普拉森西亚表示，近年来委中积极开展各领域合作，其中，文化和旅游是推动双边关系发展的重要抓手，委方高度重视发展对华文化和旅游合作关系，愿与中方深化务实合作，推动委中全面战略伙伴关系迈上新台阶。

In recent years, Venezuela and China have actively carried out cooperation in various fields, among which culture and tourism are the key to promoting the development of bilateral relations.
