国家一级作曲家王立平先生为谱写电视剧《87版红楼梦》音乐，耗时四载有余，青灯黄卷，为寻找只属于《红楼梦》的音符，付出了艰辛的努力。从字里行间挖出《枉凝眉》、《叹香菱》、《晴雯歌》、《分骨肉》、《葬花吟》等经典歌曲，一直传唱至今。
