彭丹，中国香港演员，舞蹈家。第十届全国青联常委，甘肃省政协委员，中国致公党中央文体委员。中国健康扶贫工程理事会名誉会长。 

Peng Dan, Hong Kong actor, dancer. He is a member of the Standing Committee of the 10th National Youth Federation, member of the CPPCC Gansu Provincial Committee, and member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Zhi Gong Party. Honorary president of China Health Poverty Alleviation Project Council.  

1974年11月10日，彭丹出生于湖南长沙。长沙是首批国家历史文化名城，历经三千年城名、城址不变，有“屈贾之乡”、“楚汉名城”、“潇湘洙泗”之称。  有马王堆汉墓、四羊方尊、三国吴简、岳麓书院、铜官窑等历史遗迹。凝练出“经世致用、兼收并蓄”的湖湘文化。  长沙既是清末维新运动和旧民主主义革命策源地之一，又是新民主主义的发祥地之一。走出了黄兴、蔡锷、刘少奇等名人。

Peng Dan was born on October, 1974 in Changsha, Hunan Province. Changsha is one of the first batch of national famous historical and cultural cities. After three thousand years, its name and site have not changed. It has been known as "hometown of Qu Jia", "famous city of Chu and Han" and "Zhusi of Xiaoxiang". There are Mawangdui Han tomb, Siyang fangzun, Wu bamboo slips of the Three Kingdoms, Yuelu Academy, Tongguan kiln and other historical sites. The Huxiang culture of "being practical and practical and inclusive" has been condensed. Changsha is not only one of the origins of the reform movement and the old democratic revolution in the late Qing Dynasty, but also one of the birthplaces of the new democracy. 彭丹8岁时在北京舞蹈学院一次全国“海选”中被选中，毕业后被分配到中央直属机关中央芭蕾舞团，随后又停薪留职，被公派到美国茱莉亚学院主修电影表演，并深造舞蹈。

At the age of 8, Peng Dan was selected in a national "audition" of the Beijing Dance Academy. After graduation, he was assigned to the Central Ballet Company, an organ directly under the central government. Later, he stayed on without pay and was sent to Juilliard college to major in film performance and further study dance.

由于学习成绩优秀，成为该院第一位拿到全额奖学金的华裔学生。在学校学习期间，彭丹先后获得了1992年美国华裔小姐冠军，1993年美国中国小姐冠军，以及1994年美国亚裔小姐总冠军。成为唯一一位在世界选美舞台上荣获三连冠的东方女性。 1995年因拒绝美国《花花公子》杂志25万美金邀请拍裸照的新闻，引发华人演艺界关注。

Because of his excellent academic performance, he became the first Chinese American student to receive a full scholarship. During his study in school, Peng Dan won the 1992 Miss Chinese American Championship, the 1993 miss China championship and the 1994 Miss Asian American Championship. She became the only Oriental woman who won three consecutive titles on the world beauty pageant stage. In 1995, the news that playboy magazine refused a $250000 invitation to take nude photos attracted the attention of Chinese performing arts circles.

14岁时被公派到美国茱莉亚学院留学，由于学习成绩优秀，成为该院第一位拿到全额奖学金的华裔学生；在美深造的八年期间，连续三届荣获“世界亚洲小姐”选美冠军、“美国中国小姐”选美冠军、“美国华裔小姐”选美冠军，成为唯一一位在世界选美舞台上荣获三连冠的东方女性；

2006年，彭丹参演了传记电影《张思德》，该片荣获中宣部精神文明建设“五个一工程”奖、中国电影华表奖“最佳故事片奖”、长春国际电影节“最佳故事片奖”和中国电影百花奖“最佳故事片奖”；2009年，主演了爱国故事片《可爱的中国》，该片成为中宣部六十周年国庆献礼片四部重点推荐片之一；

In 2006, Peng Dan participated in the biographical film "Zhang side", which won the "five one project" award for spiritual civilization construction of the Central Propaganda Department, the best feature film award of China Film Huabiao award, the best feature film award of Changchun International Film Festival and the best feature film award of Chinese film Hundred Flowers Award; in 2009, he starred in the patriotic feature film "lovely China", which became the sixth prize of the Central Propaganda Department One of the four recommended films for the 10th anniversary of the national day;

2013年，彭丹编导并主演的历史片《南泥湾》，被国家广电总局确定为“党的十八大重点献礼影片”，彭丹获得“2013年最佳新锐导演奖”和“第五届澳门国际电影节最佳编剧大奖”； 2014年，获得首届中美国际电视节最佳女主角奖。

In 2013, the historical film Nanniwan, directed and starred by Peng Dan, was identified as the "key film for the 18th CPC National Congress" by the State Administration of radio, film and television of the people's Republic of China. Peng Dan won the award for the best new director of 2013 and the best screenwriter Award of the 5th Macao International Film Festival. In 2014, he won the best actress award of the first China US International Television Festival.

2020年8月14日，在世界文联艺术家排行榜《每日一星》评选活动中荣获第一名。

On August 14, 2020, he won the first place in the selection activity of "one star of the day" of the World Federation of literary and art circles.
