王菲（Faye Wong），曾用名王靖雯，1969年8月8日出生于北京，中国流行乐女歌手、影视演员，中国国家一级演员。

Faye Wong, formerly known as Wang Jingwen, was born in Beijing on August 8, 1969. She is a Chinese pop singer, film and television actress, and a national first-class actress in China.

王菲小时候与父母、哥哥一起居住在北京青年沟的煤矿大院 。1975年，王菲就读于北京地坛小学，并担任班上的文艺委员。

When Wang Fei was a child, she lived with her parents and elder brother in the coal mine compound of Qingnian ditch in Beijing. In 1975, she studied in Beijing Ditan primary school and served as a member of her class.

1980年，王菲就读于北京市东直门中学  。在读中学期间，她加入了中央电视台银河少儿艺术团。1983年，她在央视的六一晚会上独唱《大海啊故乡》《小百灵之歌》等歌曲。1984年，她在东直门中学读高中。高中二年级时，她出版了翻唱邓丽君歌曲的作品《风从那里来》、《邓丽君故乡情》等等。

In 1980, Wang Fei studied in Beijing Dongzhimen middle school. During her high school years, she joined CCTV Galaxy children's Art Troupe. In 1983, she sang songs such as "the sea, hometown" and "the song of little larks" on CCTV's June 1 evening party. In 1984, she went to high school in Dongzhimen middle school. When she was a sophomore in high school, she published cover songs of Teresa Teng, "where does the wind come from" and "love of Teresa Teng's hometown" and so on.

1987年，王菲放弃厦门大学生物系的录取资格并跟随父亲移居香港；同年，她经朋友介绍拜戴思聪为师，并在他的指导下学习声乐。

In 1987, Wang Fei gave up the admission qualification of Biology Department of Xiamen University and moved to Hong Kong with her father. In the same year, she was introduced by her friend to Dai Sicong and studied vocal music under his guidance.

1989年凭借粤语歌曲《仍是旧句子》在香港歌坛出道，同年发行首张个人专辑《王靖雯》 。1992年因演唱粤语歌曲《容易受伤的女人》而被听众所熟知。1993年在粤语专辑《十万个为什么？》 中尝试另类音乐的风格  。

In 1989, she made her debut in Hong Kong with the Cantonese song "still the old sentence". In the same year, she released her first album, Wang Jingwen. In 1992, he was well known by the audience for singing the Cantonese song "Vulnerable Woman". In 1993, the Cantonese album "100000 why?"? 》Try a different style of music.

1994年发行普通话专辑《天空》，并获得十大劲歌金曲最受欢迎女歌星奖；同年在香港红磡体育馆举办18场“最精彩演唱会”，打破中国香港歌手初次开演唱会的场次纪录 。

In 1994, she released the Mandarin album sky and won the most popular female singer award of the top ten golden songs. In the same year, 18 "most wonderful concerts" were held in Hong Kong honghom gymnasium, breaking the record of the first concert held by Hong Kong Singers.

1996年成为首位登上美国《时代周刊》封面的华人歌手。1998年因在央视春晚上演唱歌曲《相约一九九八》而在中国内地获得更多的关注 ；同年发行专辑《唱游》，通过运用颤音、拖音等技巧确立其个人风格，并于次年获得新加坡SPVA唱片畅销排行榜年度销量冠军 。

In 1996, she became the first Chinese singer to appear on the cover of time magazine. In 1998, he won more attention in mainland China for singing the song "meet 1998" on CCTV Spring Festival Gala; in the same year, he released the album "singing Tour", which established his personal style by using the skills of Trill and drag tone, and won the annual sales champion of Singapore's SPVA record best-selling list the following year.

1999年凭借英文歌曲《Eyes on Me》获得第41届日本唱片大奖亚洲音乐奖 ，同年在日本武道馆举行个人演唱会 。2002年获得吉尼斯世界纪录大全颁发的“唱片销量最高的粤语女歌手”证书 。2003年主演喜剧电影《天下无双》。

In 1999, he won the Asia Music Award of the 41st Japan Record Award with his English song "eyes on me". In the same year, he held a solo concert in Japan's Wudao Museum. In 2002, she was awarded the certificate of "the highest selling Cantonese female singer" by Guinness Book of world records. In 2003, she starred in the comedy film "the world is unique".

2004年凭借专辑《将爱》获得第15届台湾金曲奖最佳国语女演唱人奖。2005年在结束“菲比寻常巡回演唱会”后淡出乐坛 。2010年复出乐坛并在央视春晚上演唱歌曲《传奇》，同年举办巡回演唱会 。2018年与那英在春晚演唱《岁月》。

In 2004, she won the best Mandarin Female Singer Award of the 15th Taiwan Golden Melody Award for her album "love". In 2005, he retired from the music world after the end of "Phoebe's usual Tour". In 2010, he returned to the music world and sang the song "legend" on CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and held a concert tour in the same year. Sing "years" with Na Ying in the Spring Festival Gala in 2018.

演艺事业外，王菲热心公益慈善。2006年11月成立嫣然基金会。2012年5月成为北京嫣然天使儿童医院的创始人之一。

Besides performing arts, Faye Wong is enthusiastic about public welfare and charity. Yan Ran foundation was established in November 2006. In May 2012, he became one of the founders of Beijing Yanran Angel children's hospital.

2020年7月21日，在世界文化艺术界联合会“每日一星”评选活动中被评为“诚实守信星”。

On July 21, 2020, he was named "honest and trustworthy" star in the "one star of the day" selection activity of the World Federation of cultural and art circles.
