理查德·克莱德曼（Richard Clayderman），原名Philippe Pagès ，法国艺术家、钢琴表演艺术家。

1953年12月28日，理查德·克莱德曼出生在法国巴黎的一个小镇上。早在3岁时，理查德就与音乐结下了不解之缘。一天，爸爸回家后，拿出一个像文具盒的东西，上面带着两排密密的小方孔，把它放在嘴边，左右移动了几下，就吹出了动听的音乐。理查德感觉很好奇，爸爸告诉他说：“这是一种乐器，它叫口琴，你来试试。”理查德接过口琴，使劲去吹，听到了一种难听的响声，把自己都吓了一跳。爸爸笑了：“慢慢地学，你就能吹出好听的曲子了。”果然，在爸爸的指导下，没用多久，聪明的理查德就学会了吹口琴。

On December 28, 1953, Richard clydeman was born in a small town in Paris, France. As early as three years old, Richard had an indissoluble bond with music. He put it on his mouth, moved it left and right a few times, and then he played beautiful music. Richard felt curious. His father told him, "this is an instrument. It's called a harmonica. Try it." Richard took the harmonica and tried to play it hard. He heard an unpleasant noise and scared himself. In 1957, Richard, 4, fell in love with the piano. Richard's father is a piano teacher. Every day when he plays the piano at home, Richard listens in silence. My father was very happy to see Richard interested in piano, so he began to teach him how to play. Under his father's guidance, Richard practiced for five or six hours every day.

理查德非常有音乐天赋，5岁的时候就开始习琴，并创作出一支曲子。它是理查德想告诉钢琴的一个小故事，曲名叫《菲菲圆舞曲》。

Richard is very talented in music. He began to play when he was 5 years old and made a piece of music. It's a little story Richard wants to tell the piano. It's called Fifi waltz.

1976年，出版第一张唱片；同年，为电视剧配乐，独奏了《给爱德琳的诗》。1979年，开始第一场演奏会。1990年，法国电视台“90 之星”评选，他以一曲重新编曲的《给爱德琳的诗》当选，获得的金钢琴奖 。

小时候，理查德在学地理时，听老师在课上讲到古老神秘的中国，从此对中国十分向往。然而，理查德却从没有想过，自己有一天能来到中国。可是，凭着钢琴和音乐的纽带，理查德终于有机会来到中国，与中国人成了好朋友。

When he was a child, Richard was learning geography, listening to the teacher talk about the ancient and mysterious China in class, and he yearned for China very much from then on. However, Richard never thought that he would come to China one day. However, with the bond of piano and music, Richard finally had the chance to come to China and become a good friend with the Chinese people.

1992 年，理查德第一次到中国演出。2004 年，理查德·克莱德曼再次来到了中国，和中国广播民族乐团联手召开录制新唱片的发布会。2012年1月1日，理查德·克莱德曼2012年新年音乐会上海站在上海大舞台开演；1月6日，理查德·克莱德曼在云南大剧院奏响2012云南新年音乐会。2013年1月13日，理查德·克莱德曼在遂宁举行新年音乐。

In 1992, Richard first performed in China. In 2004, Richard clydeman came to China again to hold a new record recording conference with China Radio National Orchestra. On January 1, 2012, Richard clydeman's 2012 New Year Concert opened in Shanghai; on January 6, Richard clydeman played the 2012 Yunnan New Year Concert in Yunnan Grand Theatre. On January 13, 2013, Richard Clayman held new year's music in Suining.

2020年6月25日，被评为世界文联“每日一星”评选活动的“文明和谐星”。

On June 25, 2020, it was rated as the "civilization and harmony star" in the selection activity of "one star a day" of the World Federation of literary and art circles.
