激发兴趣,物理才不会“冷”

  前几日,在人大附中的“开学第一课”上,来自中科院的物理大咖将各种奇妙实验搬上讲台,引得台下欢呼雀跃。掌声未落,“弃物理”的报道却接踵而至——2017年进行新高考的浙江、上海,选考物理的学生分别仅占35.8%、30%,远低于其他科目;今年北京新高考也进入实施阶段,不少家长已在讨论“能不能不选物理”。

  物理物理,讲的乃是万物之原理,日常生活中的所用、所见、所听、所感,都与它有关。它就像一扇了解世界的大门,为人们理解万事万物提供着基本的素质积淀和科学的思维方式,不论是从国家人才培养的需要看,还是个人素质的全面发展看,都是不可或缺的一项。而同时物理的探究亦充满着乐趣,雪花为什么六个瓣、冰为什么是滑的、筷子在水里为什么是“断”的,这些日常现象,都蕴含着或浅或深的物理原理。如今很多人回想起自己的物理启蒙,都会不约而同谈论起那些妙趣幽默的生活故事。可以说,物理之趣,很大程度上来源于生活之趣,来源于那求解万物的好奇之心。

  如此有趣的物理,为什么如今竟成了很多学生避之弃之的学科?兴趣缺失或许是很重要的一条。细查学生们的种种“抵触”情绪,原因不外有二:一是启蒙教育不到位,很多学生一开始就对这门有些难度的科目“不感冒”;二是在很多学校,物理教学俨然变成了单纯的求摩擦力、求做功、求电流电压,整日净是枯燥的计算和做题的法则,难激起学生学习的热情与积极性。如此一来,物理在很多学生那里便落入了越学越难,越难越不愿意学的怪圈。丰子恺先生有一幅画,描绘的是几位小朋友用望远镜观察星空的欢快场景,他还作词鼓励:自制望远镜,天空望火星,仔细看清楚,他年去旅行。而时下,我们缺少的就是这种鼓励动手探究、增强学习兴趣的氛围。

  兴趣是最好的老师。由此审视当下的“弃物理”现象,表面上看是新高考模式下学习物理“性价比太低”——学科又难,“赋分”又低。实则反映出的,却是物理在学校教育中可能被边缘化的趋向——学校、家长和考生都盯着得分点,“弃物理”便成了掩盖弱项的“田忌赛马”。在看似精巧的“算计”之下,兴趣被抛至一旁,有学生即便对物理有过“心动”,恐怕也会在分数面前低头。学习绝不应仅以考试为目的,过分迁就分数而将本该全面的知识构成拆得七零八落,无疑是“丢了西瓜捡芝麻”。

  只有当兴趣成为指挥棒,学生的潜力才能更多被挖掘。物理教学应该多些《趣味物理学》里的“时间放大镜”“‘永动’的时钟”“声音的怪事”等小故事,激发兴趣,物理才不会“冷”。同时,学生和家长也要明白,人生是一场马拉松,拼进大学不是终点,未来跋涉要有兴趣热情为伴,才能走得更远。

Now many people think about the physical enlightenment of their own, will invariably talk about the life story of wit and humor. It can be said that the interest of physics is largely derived from the interest of life, from the curiosity of all things.


So interesting physics, why is it now a subject that many students have to avoid? The lack of interest may be a very important one. The students went through all sorts of "conflict" emotions, but there are two reasons: one is the enlightenment education is not in place, many students at the beginning of this difficult subject "cold"; the two is in many schools, physics teaching has become simply seeking for work, friction, current and voltage, the net all day is calculated and do boring law, difficult to arouse students' learning enthusiasm and initiative. As a result, the more difficult the physics is, the harder it is, the harder it is to learn, the more difficult it is to learn. There is a picture of Mr. Feng Zikai, depicts the happy scene a few little friends watch the stars with a telescope, he also encouraged the lyrics: homemade telescope, Mars sky, look carefully, he was to travel. At present, what we lack is the atmosphere that encourages exploration and interest in learning.


Interest is the best teacher. Looking at the current phenomenon of "abandoning physics", it seems that under the new college entrance examination mode, learning physics is "too cheap". In fact, it reflects the trend that physics may be marginalized in school education. Schools, parents and examinees are staring at the scoring points. "Abandoning physics" has become a "Tian Ji horse race" that conceals weakness. In the seemingly exquisite "calculation", the interest is thrown aside, and even if the student has a "heart" of physics, I am afraid it will also be low in front of the score.  Learning should not only to test for the purpose, indulge the comprehensive scores the knowledge structure of the demolition is "lost all a hideous mess, watermelon picking sesame".


Only when interest becomes the baton can the potential of the students be more excavated. Physics teaching should be more "fun" time in physics "magnifying glass" "perpetual" clock "and" sound strange "and other stories, to stimulate interest in the physical is not cold". At the same time, students and parents should understand that life is a marathon, and it is not the end point to enter the University.
