　　虽说三大艺术机构不约而同选定“徐悲鸿”作为展览关键词，但它们各有侧重点——展览规模最大的中国美术馆意在全面还原徐悲鸿的艺术大家形象，梳理了徐悲鸿具有时代标志性和历史价值性的系列作品118件，其中既有大家熟知的《愚公移山》《田横五百士》《徯我后》等经典之作，也有民族象征意味浓厚的《马》《狮》《鹰》等作品。不少人在这里才弄明白他们印象里的大师不单单善画马，其他作品同样令人叫绝。“我们之所以大规模展出徐悲鸿作品，就是要让今天的人们再次感受到他那种穿越时空的民族力量。”中国美术馆馆长吴为山如是说。
