据悉，俄社交网络上再次出现消极内容，一些年轻人加入“自杀小组”，然后接受各种类型的自残任务，最后一项任务便是自杀。这次在社交媒体上出现的死亡游戏名字叫“新道路”，黑色背景上的红色五角星是自杀者的新符号。

俄VK方面表示，没有发现类似自杀帖子的爆发情况，并称系统会自动屏蔽封锁此类自杀标签。

俄《消息报》网站表示，2017年“蓝鲸”死亡游戏也是于1月开始盛行的，2017年12月这种自杀风潮出现急剧减弱。截至同年9月，共有不少于50万人在VK上参加“自杀小组”，此后，该数据下降了10倍，缩减至5万人，然后出现了一些新的类似主题群组，但每个群组的人数都不超过200人。
