国家改革呼唤热爱教育事业的人才

日前,中共中央、国务院印发全面深化新时代教师队伍建设改革的意见,对如何培养高素质教师队伍、如何强化师德师风建设以及提高教师待遇和社会地位等作出顶层设计和明确要求。意见指出,要采取措施真正让教师成为令人羡慕的职业。

让教师成为令人羡慕的职业是一个目标,是让教师这个职业回归社会理想的期许,回归其应有的崇高地位。这个目标对应的现实却是,很多人不看重教师这个职业,社会心理上并不太认同这个职业。努力改变这样的现状,不仅是教师群体的意愿,也是社会上早已存在的普遍呼声。

一个职业令人羡慕,总有客观原因。譬如待遇、身份、地位,决定了从事某种职业的人们能否获得体面的生存,影响了这样一个职业对优秀人才的吸引力。现实情况来看,教师,尤其是中小学教师,待遇比以往有了很大好转,但还存在地区差距,譬如大城市比中小城市、农村的情况要好,重点学校比一般学校要好。对于不少从事这份职业的人而言,教师是份稳妥的职业而已,比高薪岗位的竞争力小一些,可以成为职业生涯中退而求其次的选择。

尊师重教是中国优秀传统,人民尊师是因为国家重教。国家改革,既是制度、政策方面的具体调整,也传递着价值导向,重塑着教师职业的社会形象。教师是国民教育体系的重要一环,不是普通职业。教师的背后是国家教育使命,承担的是弘扬知识、教书育人的崇高工作。但是,如果这些崇高属性只是理想的情况,现实中得不到体现,人们所看到的很多教师只是为饭碗从事这份职业,心理上不会认同,不会高看教师,这个职业很难真正让人羡慕。当下,在一些人看来,教师与普通的岗位没有太大差异,并不值得过高推崇,譬如幼儿园教师似乎只充当保姆的角色,中小学教师不过是穷酸腐儒。

国家改革,呼唤真正热爱教育事业的人投身教师职业。把教师职业当谋生饭碗,待遇提得再高,这份职业也没有光环。我们这个社会,有很多像教师一样的职业,需要远远超过职业本身的投入,才能真正实现这份职业应有的价值。虽然今天我们早已不提倡两袖清风、淡泊名利,但仍然呼唤内心的神圣感和匠人情怀,很多职业都有它内在的追求。正是在这个意义上,如果连很多教师都矮化了自己的工作,当然也很难得到社会的羡慕。

针对目前教师行业存在的问题,意见从顶层设计上,通过系统的改革方案保障教师地位的提升,将让更多教师享受职业的自豪感,会激发出教师们的职业创造力。只有改善教师职业的土壤,吸引更多有志于教育事业的人才进入这个队伍,提高教师队伍的整体水平,才能彻底改变这个职业的现状。我们由衷希望教师会成为令人羡慕的职业,正如那些被赋予崇高社会使命感的职业,都应该成为令人羡慕的职业。

Respect for teachers is China excellent tradition, people's respect because of the national education. The reform of the state calls for the people who really love the cause of education to devote themselves to the profession of teachers. To make a job as a job for a teacher and to make a higher salary, there is no halo in this profession. In this society, there are many professions like teachers, which need far more than the input of the profession in order to truly realize the value of this profession.
