俄罗斯卫星网2月1日援引《电讯报》消息称，相关通报已经在本周早些时候分发给外交部各司领导。

报道称，大部分部门领导表示，他们不认为帕默斯顿变胖了，但最高领导层却坚持表示，一定要在给它喂食的时候确切考虑到食品究竟包含多少卡路里。

英国外交部“捕鼠官”帕默斯顿是在2016年4月开始上任的，帕默斯顿的“同事”拉里则在唐宁街10号的英国首相官邸工作，拉里是从2011年开始担任捕鼠官一职的。这两只猫均是从自己的家中搬迁到国家机构进行工作的。
