　　古人云：“月画其明，水画其声。”水因其自由、奔放的特征，自古以来都成为画家热衷表现的主题。无论是“飞流直下三千尺，疑似银河落九天”的壮丽，还是“明月松间照，清泉石上流”的幽静，水都成为画家们寄托思想情感的载体。

　　正所谓一方水土养育一方人，作为一名用生命的激情去亲吻三峡的艺术家，黄鹤与水当是结下了不解之缘，数十年来，他的足迹踏遍三峡的一沟一壑，笔触涉猎三峡的一草一木，他自言生在三峡，长在三峡，神奇瑰丽的三峡令他陶然心醉，长江水或波澜壮阔，或平静如镜，都生动地反映在他的一笔一划之中。

　　欣赏到黄鹤最新的一批小幅油画创作《听水》系列，我颇为陶醉。此次的新作与他之前的作品无论是在画幅尺寸上，还是选景布景上，都完全不同。新作围绕着荷塘、湖泊、溪涧等水景展开，以表现不同状态下的水为中心，将水的平静或湍急表现得生动自如，达到了一种“画小景不小”的意境。

　　水的状态不同，其色彩也会发生变化，描绘手法也不同。其中有一幅描绘的是神农架大九湖的自然风光，呈现的是静态的水面状态。暖阳笼罩着大地，在水面撒下耀眼的波光。远山透明而悠远，秋日的树丛参差排列，大九湖像一面巨大而明亮的镜子，将天空、树丛和杂草清晰地倒映出来，爽朗明净。画面中倒影很好地表现了水面的平远效果，更增加了自然景色的意境美。倒影色多为中间色调，没有很深暗的色调，也不是明亮的色彩，一般都是偏冷，对比弱的色调，色彩纯度偏低。平静水面的倒影轮廓完整清晰，笔法的横直并用加强了倒影的气韵和美感。纵观整幅画面，高调的用色，不经意的构图和流畅的处理，表现了黄鹤绘画的成熟和自然，而其作品效果的真实性和准确的色调与笔触则是他长期坚持写生的结果。

　　一处潺潺水流也是风景，纵观大局也别有风情。《听水》系列的另一幅，表现的是山泉溪涧的一隅小景。溪水流淌的方向带来了强烈的方位感，湍急的溪水，水中坚硬的大石，以及岸上欲动欲静的树木，随着层层叠叠的绿色，一一铺展开来，石缝中的涓涓流水也将观者的目光带向更远的密林深处。动态水较静态的水而言，在表现上则更为复杂。画面虽为定格一瞬间的静态，但确能给人强烈的动感，这种身临其境的代入感使观者仿佛能够听见叮咚的流水声和密林深处的鸟叫声。这也应了龚贤在《画诀》中所说的“画泉宜得势，闻之似有声”。

　　水为灵性之物，画水乃是审视自己的过程，水乃谦下之德、柔情之德。老子有云：“上善若水，水善利万物而不争。”所谓听水，实则是倾听自己内心的声音，大自然本身是无所谓情感的，但是当艺术家以特殊的视角、特殊的表达将情感注入到对象中时，它便成了“情感”的贮藏符号。水对于黄鹤而言，成为了他表达情感的载体，透过他的《听水系列》组画，可以体会到他对于家乡水的那份深情赞美和那颗欲代山川言的赤子之心。
