纵观山水画史，女子在山水画领域崭露头角者甚少。皆因为画山水者不仅要动脑力，还需具备体力、耐力;不但要阅万卷，还要饱历遨游，使胸有丘壑。因之，女性攀登者寥寥。而在当今金陵画坛中有一女不让须眉，所作山水气象颇大，引人注目。

陈曦，1963年生于南京，早年受到家庭艺术的熏陶，喜爱书画艺术。多年来潜心书法研习，勤奋刻苦，追摹古之圣贤，临习兰亭不下百余。后又拜师访友，揣摩国画山水，苦心励志，北上求学，于北京清华美院山水画专科学习，得到了艺术的锤炼，其山水画作有了长足进步，取得了不俗的成绩，作品多次参加各类展览，获得好评。

Chen Xi, born in Nanjing in 1963, was influenced by family art in her early years and loved calligraphy and painting. Over the years, he has devoted himself to calligraphy study, worked hard, followed the sages of ancient times, and studied at Lanting for more than 100 years. After that, he visited his teachers and friends, figured out the landscape of traditional Chinese painting, worked hard and encouraged himself, went north to study, studied in the landscape painting College of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, and got the temper of art. His landscape paintings have made great progress and achieved good results. His works have participated in various exhibitions for many times and won high praise.

陈曦现为金陵书画院副院长，中国艺术家数据库画家，一级美术师，南京市建邺区美协会员、大风堂中国画学研究会会员。
