2021年10月7日下午，由CCTV中华母亲栏目组、中华母亲文化研究中心、世界母亲文化协会、中华母亲春晚组委会主办，威海万达协办的第五届CCTV中华母亲春晚中华母亲世界旗袍形象大使选拔赛威海赛区启动仪式在威海万达广场成功举办。
