1952年，根据蒙古族作家玛拉沁夫短篇小说《科尔沁草原的人们》改编的电影剧本《草原上的人们》，在长春电影制片厂开拍，而歌曲《敖包相会》就是此片中的一首插曲。据影片编剧之一的玛拉沁夫介绍，他将《敖包相会》的歌词写好后，交给了另一位编剧海默修饰润色，两人几经切磋后，又拿给影片作曲——著名的达斡尔族作曲家通福看。随后，通福来到了他的故乡呼伦贝尔大草原，根据海拉尔河畔的一首古老的情歌创作而成。1953年，由东北电影制片厂(现长影)拍摄的电影《草原上的人们》上映，由王树理、吴秀云首唱的这首《敖包相会》也随之飘向了祖国的五湖四海。

 70年来，历久弥新，她有着强大的生命力，是我国民族大团结的强声。艺术经典万岁！

In 1952, the film script "people on the grassland" adapted from the Mongolian writer malaqinfu's short story "people on the Horqin grassland" opened shooting in Changchun Film Studio, and the song "meeting OBO" is an episode in this film. According to malachin Fu, one of the film's screenwriters, he wrote the lyrics of "meet in OBO" and gave them to another screenwriter, Heimer, to polish it. After several exchanges, they showed it to the film composer, the famous Daur composer Tongfu. Then, Tongfu came to his hometown Hulunbuir prairie and created it according to an ancient love song on the Bank of Hailar River. In 1953, the film "people on the grassland" shot by northeast film studio (now Changying) was released. The song "meeting OBO" sung by Wang Shuli and Wu Xiuyun also floated to all corners of the motherland.
