July 14th Zhongyuan Festival

农历七月十四是中国传统的鬼节，又称盂兰节，中元节，其实就是一个感恩怀恩的日子。由于七月是属坤，是八卦中至阴的一卦，而据过往经验，这个月又最常遇到怪事，所以渐渐演变成七月鬼门关大开的日子。中元节源自道教。

July 14 of the lunar calendar is a traditional Chinese Ghost Festival, also known as Yulan Festival and Zhongyuan Festival. In fact, it is a day of gratitude and kindness. July is the most Yin of the eight trigrams because it belongs to Kun. According to past experience, strange things often happen this month, so it gradually evolved into a day when the gates of hell are open in July. The Zhongyuan festival originated from Taoism.

七月十四是鬼门大开的日子,因此都极少出夜门。

July 14 is the day when the ghost gate is open, so they rarely go out at night.

七月十四，是祭拜祖先的日子，七月十五祭拜亡灵（烧街衣）烧街衣是给孤魂野鬼的。

July 14 is the day to worship ancestors. July 15 is the day to worship the dead (burning street clothes). Burning street clothes is for lonely souls and wild ghosts.

父母去人生只剩归途

Parents go to life and there is only a way home

祖先是指已经离开我们的父母，爷爷奶奶，公公婆婆，以及内内外外的神人。他们在生时候，都有个家，死了，就离开这个家，他们飘荡在外面。所以我们家就得有祖先的牌位，如果家里没有祖先牌位的，这个家族的先人就无家可归，变了孤魂野鬼。祖先是有灵性的，他们会护着我们，条件是他们要知道谁家的人是他们的亲人啊？所以得在自己家里安放祖先供位，常说的神主牌。你的心里有神就有神，你信他们他们就会显灵，头顶三尺有神灵，人通神灵，人在做，天在看就是这个意思。

Ancestors refer to those who have left our parents, grandparents, parents in law, and gods and men inside and outside. When they were born, they all had a home. When they died, they left the home, and they drifted outside. Therefore, our family must have ancestral tablets. If there is no ancestral tablet in the family, the ancestors of the family will be homeless and become lonely ghosts. Ancestors are spiritual. They will protect us on the condition that they know whose family is their relatives? So you have to place the tablet of God in your home. If you have God in your heart, there will be God. If you believe them, they will show their spirit. There are gods three feet above your head. People communicate with gods. People are doing, and heaven is watching. That's what it means.

要知道家里的神人在外面飘荡都不知道进谁家，是一个无家可归的孤魂野鬼。他们认自家的神主牌，各神归各位。

You should know that the god man in the family is wandering outside. He doesn't know who to enter. He is a homeless ghost. They recognize their own God cards, and all gods belong to you.

万物有所生，而独知守其根。

All things are born, and only know to keep their roots.

人最大的遗憾就是树欲静而风不止，子欲养而亲不待。

People's biggest regret is that the tree wants to be quiet but the wind does not stop, and the son wants to raise but does not wait.

我们的亲人在生时候要尊敬他们，他们去了就要怀念他们，有空给他们上一炷香，他们会感安宁，不离不弃，永远的神灵！

Our relatives should respect them when they are born. When they go, they should miss them. If they have time to give them a incense stick, they will feel peaceful, never give up, eternal gods!

传承有序，代代相承，家人平安，一切如意！
