1，北望天，袁天罡、李淳风陵墓在西河北岸山峦的不同位置，从西河岸边起步谒陵，景仰北望天，天人合一。

2，李淳风，袁天罡是人中之龙。《推背图》这部书，可谓人尽皆知，它号称是中国预言界的“第一奇书”，这部奇书从唐朝开始，一直推算出此后中国两千多年的国运兴衰，不得不令人为之惊叹，而此书的作者便是唐代大名鼎鼎的两位风水大咖袁天罡和李淳风。

4， 浑天仪动，李淳风曾经制作出过新的浑天仪，要知道，此前的那些浑天仪只有四游仪及六合仪两重，经过李淳风的改造以后，变成了三重，如此一来，就变成了最外为六合仪，中间是三辰仪，最内系四游仪，它最大的优势就是对黄道经纬、赤道经纬、地平经纬均可测定，而这个改进一下子创造出当时世界上最先进的天文观测仪器。

5， 乙巳占，李淳风大师，除了与袁天罡合作写出《推背图》以及一起找陵墓表明他的相术和风水术同样不凡以外，他还是非常著名的天文学家和数学家，可能很多人都不知道，李淳风是世界上第一个给风力顶级的人，他曾经设计出一种叫做“三脚鸡风动标”的设备，用来观风、测风。不但如此，李淳风还将风力定为八级，而直到一千多年以后，欧洲人才在他所定八级风的基础上细化为十三级风，随着越来越细化，风级现在已经增加到了十八级，而他那部著名的《乙巳占》，更是世界气象史上最早的专著。

6， 鳞德历，李淳风大师还在对隋代天文学家刘焯的《皇极历》进行一番增补之后，制定出了新历法《麟德历》，很快便被应用，而这部《麟德历》不但传到了新罗，也就是今天的朝圌鲜，更是传到了日本，只是被改名成了《仪凤历》，虽然这部《麟德历》因为没有采用岁差被人称为“智者千虑必有一失”，但是并不影响它的重要性。

7， 推背图第二卦象中是一盘装二十一个李子，其中第四个没有把，是预示武则天，唐朝皇帝是李性，共二十一位。是唐朝结局。

8， 太史埋钱，罡插簮，李淳风受武则天文其选择风水宝地之令，用九九八十一天，为武则天选择乾陵中心位置埋下一枚中间带有四方孔的铜钱。而后武则天又命令袁天罡为其择风水宝地，袁天罡用七七四十九天，选择了乾陵风水宝地中心位置，并且随手摘下自己头上的银簮插下。后来武则天派出官员前往现场检查，发现袁天罡的选择的中心位置银簮，不偏不倚，正好插在了李淳风所埋铜钱孔中。后来乾陵选址于此兴建。

9， 观天测地，西河岸边长终。袁天罡，李淳风为自己选择百年后长眠的风水宝地就是他们现在陵墓所在位置，就是现在之四川省阆中市天宫院西河北岸山峦。
