Jim Carrey is a Canadian American actor, screenwriter and producer.

1962年1月17日出生于加拿大安大略省纽马克特，是家中四个孩子中最小的一个。父亲是个会计，却热衷于音乐、表演，经常演奏萨克斯和从事喜剧表演 。

Born on January 17, 1962 in Newmark, Ontario, Canada, she is the youngest of four children. My father was an accountant, but he was keen on music and performance. He often played saxophone and comedy.

金·凯瑞从小就喜欢表演，并立志将来当个演员。上小学时，他就经常在教室里搞些小表演。金·凯瑞还常常模仿各种夸张的姿势和面部表情来逗身体不好的母亲开心。

Kim Carrey has loved acting since childhood and is determined to be an actor in the future. When he was in primary school, he used to do some small performances in the classroom. Kim Carrey also often imitates various exaggerated postures and facial expressions to amuse her ailing mother.

13岁时，父亲经商失利而破产，一家人只能在贫困线上挣扎，靠打杂工糊口，金只能放弃读书而帮助家庭维持生活。15岁时他在父亲的帮助下，在多伦多一家喜剧俱乐部表演，后来来到洛杉矶参加了“滑稽商店”的演出。

When he was 13 years old, his father failed in business and went bankrupt. The whole family had to struggle on the poverty line and live on handyman. Jin had to give up studying and help the family to survive. At the age of 15, with the help of his father, he performed in a comedy club in Toronto, and later came to Los Angeles to participate in the "funny store" performance.
