世界文联通讯处：2020年10月25日重阳节，纪念黄梅戏艺术大师严凤英诞辰90周年文艺活动在安徽省安庆市菱湖公园黄梅阁隆重举行。

重阳节这天，秋风送爽，满地黄花堆积，金色黄叶编织出金色梦境。在安庆市菱湖公园黄梅阁内，早早便聚集了一大群曲艺工作者、爱好者，他 们都是严凤英大师的忠实粉丝，是不遗余力弘扬黄梅戏戏曲艺术的优秀严迷。

On the Double Ninth Festival, the autumn wind is cool, and the yellow flowers are all over the ground. The golden leaves weave a golden dream. In the Huangmei Pavilion of Linghu Park in Anqing City, a large group of Quyi workers and fans gathered early. They are loyal fans of master Yan Fengying and excellent Yan fans who spare no effort to promote Huangmei Opera.

在这许多人中，有黄梅戏大师严凤英的传承者、世界文联亚洲戏曲家协会秘书长小凤英；亚洲戏曲家协会副主席汪兴贵、中国红色文化协会副主席秦志明、邓小平同志特型演员汪同伟等其他优秀文化艺术工作者。

Among them, Xiao Fengying, the successor of the Huangmei Opera master Yan Fengying and Secretary General of the Asian Dramatists Association of the World Federation of literary and art circles; Wang Xinggui, vice chairman of the Asian Dramatists Association; Qin Zhiming, vice chairman of the China Red Culture Association; Wang Tongwei, special actor of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, and other outstanding cultural and artistic workers.

严凤英（1930年～1968年），安徽安庆市黄梅村人，中国黄梅戏表演艺术家、安庆黄梅戏发展缔造者、“七仙女”塑造者，中国黄梅戏传承发展重要的开拓者和贡献者。严凤英黄梅戏代表作《打猪草》、《游春》、《天仙配》、《女驸马》、《牛郎织女》、《夫妻观灯》等。

Yan Fengying (1930-1968), born in Huangmei village, Anqing City, Anhui Province, is a performing artist of Chinese Huangmei Opera, founder of its development, and shaper of "seven fairies", and an important pioneer and contributor to the inheritance and development of Huangmei Opera in China. Yan Fengying's representative works of Huangmei Opera are "Da Zhucao", "Youchun", "Tianxianpei", "daughter in law", "Niulang Zhinv", "husband and wife watching the lantern".

在她十来岁时，同族中的严云高将黄梅戏带回了罗家岭，他一面开铺谋生，一面收徒授艺，严凤英由此与黄梅戏结下缘分。从此她偷偷学戏，继而拜严云高为师傅，正式成为他的女弟子，并学会了《送香茶》、《春香闹学》等传统戏中的单折。从学唱民歌小调，到学唱学演黄梅戏，从四五岁到十五岁，严凤英度过了踏上黄梅戏表演艺术道路的准备时期。

When she was about ten years old, Yan Yungao, a member of her family, brought Huangmei Opera back to luojialing. As he opened a shop to make a living, he accepted apprenticeship and taught art. Thus, Yan Fengying was bound up with Huangmei Opera. From then on, she secretly learned opera, and then took Yan Yungao as her master, and became his female disciple. She learned the single fold of traditional opera such as "sending fragrant tea" and "spring fragrance and making fun of school". From learning to sing folk songs, to learning to sing and perform Huangmei Opera, Yan Fengying spent the preparatory period of embarking on the road of Huangmei opera performing art from the age of four or five to fifteen.

1947年10月，17岁的严凤英凭借灵雀般的歌喉和轻盈舞姿吸引了秋浦两岸的百姓，深受大伯大婶们的喜爱。严凤英在秋浦河两岸前后共唱了三个月，不仅艺高，人也好，肯结人缘，在秋浦唱戏时，每到一处，还和房东结了干妈干婶。随着舞台实践的不断丰富，严凤英的表演艺术水平迅速得以提高。

In October 1947, 17-year-old Yan Fengying attracted the people on both sides of Qiupu river with her singing voice and graceful dancing, and was deeply loved by aunts and uncles. Yan Fengying sang for three months on both sides of the Qiupu river. She was not only a high performer, but also a good friend. When she was singing in Qiupu, she married the landlord as a mother and aunt. With the continuous enrichment of stage practice, Yan Fengying's performance art level has been improved rapidly.

1954年的华东区戏曲会演，是严凤英事业走向辉煌的重要一步，这次汇演直接为1955年电影《天仙配》拍摄奠定了基础。随着电影的播映，黄梅戏从安徽省的一个地方小剧种，变成了全国皆知的剧种。从1953年到1965年的13年间，严凤英演出了50多个大小剧目，尤其在《天仙配》、《女驸马》中塑造的七仙女、冯素贞的艺术形象，已成了她的代表作，也是黄梅戏中的珍品。

The opera performance in East China in 1954 was an important step in Yan Fengying's career. This performance directly laid the foundation for the shooting of the 1955 film "Tianxianpei". With the broadcast of the film, Huangmei Opera has changed from a local opera in Anhui Province to a well-known drama in China. During the 13 years from 1953 to 1965, Yan Fengying performed more than 50 plays, especially the artistic images of the seven fairies and Feng Suzhen created in "Tian Xian Pei" and "Nu Fu Fu Ma" have become her representative works and treasures in Huangmei Opera.

严凤英的唱腔亮丽沙甜，委婉动听，韵味浓郁，吸收京剧、越剧、评剧、评弹、民歌等唱腔之长，将它们融会贯通，自成一家，誉为“严派”，广为流传。严凤英被田汉誉为“黄梅戏里的梅兰芳”，被国人称为黄梅戏的“一代宗师”。

Yan Fengying's singing is beautiful, sweet, euphemistic and full of charm. She absorbs the advantages of Beijing opera, Yue opera, Pingju, Pingtan and folk songs, and integrates them into her own. She is known as "Yan school" and widely spread. Yan Fengying is known as "Mei Lanfang in Huangmei Opera" by Tian Han and "master of Huangmei Opera" by Chinese people.

这一位黄梅戏宗师却在1968年4月7日由于不堪凌辱，自杀身亡。1978年举行了严凤英骨灰安放仪式，骨灰安葬在安庆菱湖风景区内的黄梅阁，这里是黄梅戏之乡，将一代宗师安葬在这里也是最好的归宿，她的雕像是按照七仙女的形象来塑造的，其骨灰葬于雕像底座。在这里没有屈辱，只有敬仰！

On April 7, 1968, the master of Huangmei Opera committed suicide because of being insulted. In 1978, Yan Fengying's ashes were placed in Huangmei Pavilion in Linghu scenic area of Anqing. This is the hometown of Huangmei Opera. It is also the best destination to bury a great master here. Her statue is shaped according to the image of seven fairies, and her ashes are buried in the base of the statue. There is no humiliation here, only admiration!
