1980年7月3日出生于美国俄克拉何马州俄克拉何马城，父亲是萨姆·玛恩(Sam Munn)有德国裔和爱尔兰裔血统，母亲金·玛恩(Kim Munn)是华裔血统和越南裔血统，他们有五个孩子。

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA on July 3, 1980, his father is Sam Munn, of German and Irish origin, and his mother, Kim Munn, is of Chinese and Vietnamese origin. They have five children.

Olivia's mother remarried to an air force when she was two. After that, they left Olivia's birthplace and moved to many places. During this period, they lived in Tokyo for a long time. Munn's stepfather was stationed in Tokyo. During this time, she had participated in local drama and worked as a model.
