1979年12月6日出生于中国重庆市，这座著名的国家历史文化名城因1189年宋光宗赵惇先封恭王再即帝位，自诩“双重喜庆”，重庆由此得名。

Born in Chongqing, China on December 6, 1979, this famous national historical and cultural city got its name because Zhao Dun, Emperor Guangzong of Song Dynasty, first granted King Gong and then became emperor in 1189, claiming to be "double happy".

“红岩精神”起源地，巴渝文化发祥地，  “火锅”、“吊脚楼”等影响深远；在文字记载的3000余年中，曾三为国都，四次筑城，史称“巴渝”；抗战时期为国民政府陪都。1997年6月18日，重庆直辖市政府机构正式挂牌，历史上第三次成为直辖市。

The origin of "Hongyan spirit" and the birthplace of Bayu culture, "hot pot" and "Diaojiaolou" have far-reaching influence; in the more than 3000 years of written records, it was the capital of the state for three times and built cities for four times, known as "Bayu" in history; during the anti Japanese War, it was the capital of the national government. On June 18, 1997, Chongqing Municipality was officially listed as a municipality directly under the central government for the third time in history.

1996年，殷桃考入重庆艺术学校影视话剧班。1999年，考入中国人民解放军艺术学院戏剧系。2003年，毕业于中国人民解放军艺术学院戏剧系本科，是中国人民解放军空军政治部电视艺术中心演员、国家话剧院演员 。

In 1996, Yin Tao was admitted to the film and television drama class of Chongqing Art School. In 1999, he was admitted to the drama department of the Academy of Arts of the people's Liberation Army. In 2003, he graduated from the drama department of the Academy of Arts of the people's Liberation Army. He is an actor of the television art center of the Political Department of the air force of the Chinese people's Liberation Army and an actor of the national language theater.

2003年，在空军政治部电视艺术中心做演员（军级为正营级文职干部）。2002年因主演《我在天堂等你》获得第五届中国话剧金狮奖表演奖、第八届中国戏剧节曹禺戏剧奖优秀表演奖、第十五届上海白玉兰奖优秀女主角奖。2003年出演电视剧《历史的天空》。

2004年因饰演《搭错车》中阿美一角，入围金鹰奖优秀女演员。2006年主演《幸福像花儿一样》赢得关注。2009年主演尤小刚导演作品《杨贵妃秘史》。2011年在《武则天秘史》中饰演青年武则天。

2013年12月26日第29届“飞天奖”颁奖盛典中殷桃因电视剧《温州一家人》、《延安爱情》获第29届“飞天奖”优秀女演员大奖。2014年，主演中国版话剧《罗密欧与朱丽叶》   。2015年4月16日，主演的都市生活喜剧《我为儿孙当北漂》登陆江苏卫视黄金档剧场播出。

2017年凭借《鸡毛飞上天》获得第23届上海电视节白玉兰奖最佳女演员，完成电视剧三大奖项“视后”满贯。2018年9月28日，殷桃领衔主演的国庆献礼剧《你迟到的许多年》登陆湖南卫视，在剧中饰演自由前卫、于爱情与理想之间颠簸的白衣天使莫莉；9月28日，凭借《那些女人》获得第16届平壤国际电影节最佳女配角奖。

In 2017, she won the best actress award of Magnolia Award in the 23rd Shanghai TV Festival with her "chicken feather flying to the sky", and completed the Grand Slam of three major TV Drama Awards. 2019年10月，入围第六届“中国电视好演员”蓝组女演员候选名单。

2020年，主演电视剧《涩女郎》。8月25日，在世界文联文化艺术家排行榜《每日一星》评选活动中荣获第一名。

In 2020, she starred in the TV series astringent girl. On August 25, he won the first place in the selection of "one star of the day" of the World Federation of literary and art circles.
