石峰山下，风景如画。这里曾经有中南最大的玻璃厂，株洲电厂等大型国有企业。特型演员毛军儒曾经就是株洲玻璃厂动力车间技术员。九七年企业改制，毛军儒南下广州任鹰报社广告部主任，广州市人大和政协相关部门的支持下，策划了大型画册《广州改革开放二十年先锋人物》，取得了良好的经济效益和社会效益。
