莎拉·布莱曼（Sarah Brightman），1960年8月14日出生于英国伯肯斯特得，古典跨界音乐（Classical crossover）女高音歌手、音乐剧演员、词曲作者。

1960年8月14日，莎拉·布莱曼出生于英国一个大家庭，母亲 Paula Hernyhough Brightman（Paula Hall）住在西班牙，父亲Grenville Brightman（1934-1992）是一名商人，父母在1992年离婚，同年父亲在家中一氧化碳中毒自杀，父母育有6个子女，莎拉是六姐弟中最大的一个  。

On August 14, 1960, Sarah Brightman was born in a large British family. Her mother, Paula hernyhough Brightman (Paula Hall), lived in Spain. Her father, Grenville Brightman (1934-1992), was a businessman. Her parents divorced in 1992. Her father committed suicide in the same year by poisoning carbon monoxide in her home. Her parents had six children. Sarah was the largest of the six siblings.

Sarah Brightman had a clear goal to be an artist since she was a child. At the age of 3, she began to learn ballet and performed in local festivals. At the age of 11, he entered art school to study jazz and performance. At the age of 12, she was wearing a halter skirt and singing a song from Alice in Wonderland at the school's final show. A year later, she appeared in the musical "Albert and I" and played Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Vicky, before taking an interview at the Royal College of ballet in London but was eliminated.

In 1977, he joined the "hot gossip" group and officially made his debut. In 1981, he played in the musical cat adapted by Andrew Roy Webber. In 1985, he was nominated for the Grammy best classical New Artist Award for his musical Requiem. In 1986, she starred in the musical phantom of the opera.

1990年逐渐离开音乐剧舞台，并开始了个人音乐生涯。1992年，与何塞·卡雷拉斯合唱巴塞罗那奥运会主题曲《Amigos Para Siempre》。1996年，与安德烈·波切利演唱的单曲《Time To Say Goodbye》在全球创下超过1500万张的单曲销售记录   。2000年，发行个人录音室专辑《La Luna》。

In 1990, he gradually left the musical stage and began his personal music career. In 1992, he sang with Jose Carreras the theme song of Barcelona Olympic Games "amigos para siempre". In 1996, the single time to say goodbye with Andre Bocelli set a record of more than 15 million singles worldwide. In 2000, he released the personal studio album La Luna.

2002年，发行了精选集《Encore》。2005年，发行精选集《Diva: The Singles Collection》。2008年，与刘欢共同演唱北京奥运会开幕式主题曲《我和你》，成为首位二度演唱奥运会主题曲的歌手  。2010年，发行单曲《Shall be done》。2012年初，被任命为联合国教科文组织和平艺术家  。2015年，前往俄罗斯进行技能训练 。2018年，发行了录音室专辑《Hymn》。

In 2002, the collection Encore was released. In 2005, Diva: the single collection was released. In 2008, Liu Huan and I sang the theme song of the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games with Liu Huan, becoming the first singer to sing the theme song of the Olympic Games twice. In 2010, the single "shall be done" was released. In early 2012, he was appointed a UNESCO peace artist. In 2015, he went to Russia for skill training. In 2018, the studio album hymn was released.

莎拉·布莱曼与乐团经理Andrew Graham-Stewart于1978年结婚，1983年9月离婚；1984年3月22日，与安德鲁·劳埃德·韦伯结婚，1990年6月莎拉·布莱曼和韦伯结束了6年的婚姻生活，离婚后，两人保持了“朋友关系”。离开音乐剧舞台后与其个人音乐制作人Frank Peterson保持过一段恋人关系，后分手，未育有子女  。

Sarah Brightman married Andrew Graham Stewart, the manager of the orchestra, in 1978 and divorced in September 1983. On March 22, 1984, she married Andrew Lloyd Webber. In June 1990, Sarah Brightman and Weber ended their six-year marriage. After the divorce, they kept a "friend relationship". After leaving the musical stage, he had a romantic relationship with Frank Peterson, his personal music producer, before breaking up without children.

2020年6月30日，在世界文化艺术界联合会“每日一星”评选活动中被选为“文明和谐星”。
