大科学家写给孩子的北极探险书培养全球观

　　他是中国首次远征北极点科学考察队总领队，他15年间10进北极、在北极生活时间超过1100天，他就是享受国务院特殊津贴的有突出贡献的科学家、今年78岁的位梦华。

　　同时作为冰心儿童文学奖获得者，刚刚由广西师范大学出版社推出的“冰雪北极科学探险”典藏书系就是位梦华研究北极多年后写给孩子们的书。

　　谈到写作初衷，位梦华直言，科学的发展是有两个层次，一个是科学专业的队伍——科学家，他们实做科学研究；第二个就是普通民众，普通的民众起什么作用呢？起一个水涨船高的作用。科学家不是从天上掉下来的，他是从民众中培养出来的，而民众的科学素养，就决定科学家的队伍能不能发展起来。“这就是为什么我老了以后要拼命写书，然后讲课，来呼吁大家要关心科学，要使我们的孩子树立一种科学的理念，这是非常关键的！”

　　“冰雪北极科学探险”典藏书系正是位梦华这一理念的成功实践，该书系中20多位科学家轮番登场，故事涉及地理、生物和考古等学科，如北极地理知识、鹅卵石的来历、旅鼠之谜、大雁迁徙、鲸鱼行为和巴罗历史等等。

　　书中描绘的北极世界里人与人、人与地球、人与自然的相处模式颇为发人深省。爱斯基摩人依靠鲸鱼生存，他们不捕猎怀孕和处在哺乳期的鲸鱼。捕到鲸鱼后，举行盛大而有序的分鲸仪式，有东西大家吃，有事情大家干。如有北极熊来村里觅食，他们的人道主义不是直接投食，而是把北极熊驱赶到巴罗角，那里远离人烟，还有一堆鲸鱼肉，这种驱赶“道是无情却有情”！

　　正如希望孩子树立科学的理念一样，位梦华说：“我希望我们中国的孩子们，要树立一种全球观念。我们首先要爱国，然后我们要关心地球。”(完)
