　　虽然目前中国还没有男棋手获得过国际象棋世界棋王的称号，但在女子国际象棋领域，中国已处于世界领先水平，而且自上世纪90年代以来先后培养出谢军、诸宸、许昱华、侯逸凡和谭中怡5位世界棋后，其中侯逸凡早在16岁时就登上了世界棋后的宝座，至今已经四夺棋后桂冠。值得一提的是，早在2010年11月，侯逸凡曾与卡尔波夫在三亚进行过4盘慢棋和2盘快棋的对抗赛，侯逸凡在慢棋中3和1负，快棋则是两度与卡尔波夫弈和，虽然侯逸凡输了比赛，但为她积累了非常宝贵的实战经历和对局体验，并于一个月后在土耳其举行的国际象棋女子世锦赛上，赢得了个人职业生涯首个世界棋后头衔。

　　尽管在不久前结束的维克安泽国际象棋大赛上，侯逸凡状态欠佳，但在本月初国际棋联公布的最新一期女子等级分排行榜上，她依然遥遥领先，稳居国际象棋女子世界第一位。此番再次与卡尔波夫相遇，侯逸凡应该比八年前具备了更加强大的冲击力。本次对抗赛采用快棋赛形式，共进行6局对抗。比赛用时为每方15分钟，每步棋加10秒，先得3.5分的棋手将成为比赛优胜方。
