造化心源 曲水万象——王一卜“曲水雕”
王一卜治玉已逾十数年,其间作品面目变而再三。探察其间,于改换处实有贯通。而绵延至今,其作再度为之一变,其自称为“曲水雕”法。
刻划水波,自古有之。早在新石器时代早期,河姆渡文化的陶器中就已出现水波纹样;而至新石器时代中晚期,水波纹刻划已颇为广泛;至南北朝时,佛头发髻亦有水波纹式及涡巻式。但王一卜所创“曲水雕”,却于以上又有新的融汇。
此种新奇,并非一时兴起之作,而是于其创作年谱中,早已有草蛇灰线——乃是源于一件残荷作品的叶脉。此脉以曲线为主,一波九曲,且行且变,圆熟流畅,自然浑然,似脉络又似水路,有圆曲迂回处,亦有折皴顿转时,是在传统水波样式刻划之外,又结合了山水画之解索皴、荷叶皴、卷云皴等刀笔转换,而成就出一种独属于王一卜的“曲水”样貌。
通体而观,王一卜此时所成就之一切“曲水雕”玉,皆似风行水上,波澜自起;细细察看,每根线条起伏多变,如道路,似长河,若山峦……其自解道:一切似在有意无意之间,不刻意求工,亦不刻意求似,只是重在刀法意趣的自然生发,而使造型更近于自然,融于自然。
而实施此种“曲水雕”法,当忌写实而重写意。刀笔多屈曲而行,看似行云流水,随机散漫,实则于顺畅之中间有顿挫,既“流”且“留”,节奏显明。兼以行、隶之笔意化入刀法,顺势而为时忽而顿挫转折,滞留得当,才能毫无虚浮油滑之感。
王一卜所创“曲水”之法,其形式变化也有若干,大致有以下五种:譬如一种线条,阳起而雕,顺流而下,似檐壁流痕,且命为“漏痕式”;而另一种阴刻,一笔一划,犹细沙间划过,名“划沙式”。

倘若线条如细流之涓涓,那么自线条转至形体、块面之上,则块面似河道之汤汤,忽而平滑如镜,忽而弯折跌宕,曲面多重,节奏荡漾。其间凹面对接或凹凸面順接之处,称为“流水式”;平面似台阶逐落,便是“梯田式”;而凸面与凸面对接时,其圆鼓肥硕之态,则可名为“婴儿肥式”。如此种种,不一而足,可独立刻划,亦可间错而为,法无定法。恰如石涛所言:无法之法,乃为至法。

所谓外师造化,中得心源。王一卜以曲水为形,当为心生喜爱之故。《老子》曰:上善若水。水,凹于地表,而以此谦卑养得万物。曲,于《易》中也有细解:曲成万物而不遗。意即以曲线方得包容、体贴万物。曲则全。可见“曲水”之意奥妙。
而此种领悟,与王一卜自小与水接洽,大有关联。其幼时于船上长大,直到进入小学。微风中的平湖细浪,晴日里的潋滟水光,急流中的层波叠浪、漩涡飞转……还有冬日清晨水雾里的缥缈行船,云水如幻,仙境一般。这些都曾是王一卜儿时日日熟悉的画面,直至今日,终不能忘,亦由此而有所思:水流逶迤,漂转不定,逢山而绕行,遇土而成岸,顺流而潺潺,逆势而汤汤,姿态横生,幻化万象,常行于所当行,常止于所不可不止,因地制流,终能汇于瀚海。
人亦如此。如水般至柔至刚、至污至净,方能至容至伟,抵达智慧瀚境。治玉亦如曲水。游离于法度边缘,合法而不拘于法,似我而非我,有我亦无我,方可成就古今之契合。
