侯跃清（又名侯耀清），湖南省溆浦县人，国家一级美朮师，湖南省美协会员。自幼喜好书画艺术，在学校读书期间一直担任学校美朮方面的相关工作，为以后工作中的业余书画创作打下了一定的基础。退休以后有了较充裕的时间，参加了湖南省老干部（老年）书画家协会，湘西自治州老年书画家协会，曾担任副会长兼副秘书长职务，目前是该协会艺术顾问。作品以人物、花鸟画为主，尤以画梅擅长，受王成喜大师影响，长期心摹手追终于有了一定的成就，作品多次参加省内外书画展，受到好评并被单位和个人收藏。

Hou Yueqing (also known as Hou Yaoqing), born in Xupu County, Hunan Province, is a national first-class artist and a member of the Hunan Artists Association. I have been fond of calligraphy and painting art since childhood, and have been working in the field of school art during my studies, laying a certain foundation for my future amateur calligraphy and painting creation. After retirement, I had ample time and participated in the Hunan Provincial Senior Cadres (Elderly) Calligraphers and Painters Association and the Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture Elderly Calligraphers and Painters Association. I served as Vice President and Deputy Secretary General and am currently an art consultant to the association. The works mainly focus on character and flower and bird paintings, with Mei being particularly skilled in painting. Influenced by Master Wang Chengxi, he has achieved certain success in long-term imitation and calligraphy. His works have participated in numerous calligraphy and painting exhibitions both inside and outside the province, received high praise and have been collected by units and individuals.
