张永金，字木人，1943年生，江苏张家港人。自幼喜爱书法，后投笔从戎，23岁调中央军委总部机关工作直到退休。            

  1985   年由李铎、夏湘平老师介召加入中国书法家协会。现为国家一级书法师，中国国际艺术形象大师，国礼艺术家，国宾礼特邀艺术顾问。全国书画艺术委员会副主席，央广国际文化交流艺术委员会副主席，博鳌亚州艺术人才研究中心副理事长，北京胡润国际艺术品鉴定中心胡润专家，央媒文化組委會藝術委員，中国影视艺术中心艺术顾问，中国榜书艺术研究会顾问，中国将军书画研究院执行院长，中国国艺人民书画院名誉院长，牛津艺术学院特聘教授，《书法字海》《书法大字典》编审委员。

  书法宗二王，师名家，涉各体，擅行草，作品既有传统功底又具时代精神，素有雅俗共赏之赞誉。风格萧散简远，气势大度，飘逸秀美。2001年在中国美术馆举办个展，受到好评，中央电视台和中央人民广播电台作了新闻报道。多次参加国际国内大型书展，入选几十种书法典集和名人辞典，入刻多处碑林和门牌匾额。被编辑《一带一路中国新丝绸之路上的艺术大师》《法国邮票印象.中国殿堂级艺术家篇章》《国际邮票压卷之作》等国内外邮册。著作出版有《题字书法艺术》《张永金书法艺略》《流连翰墨》《张永金书法作品拾零》等，其中《题字书法艺术》被誉为“填补署书理论空白之举”。参与编辑出版了《书法字海》《中国书法艺术大成》等书法工具书，主编出版了若干部将军书画典集。有《中国艺术大家之张永金》《中国文化人物.张永金》等视频在线播放。

他热心公益，多次发起赈灾笔会，将义卖所得全部捐赠给灾区建设。常献爱心，捐赠作品。组织老将军与爱心企业家联合在革命老区援建将军希望小学，受到社会各界的广泛关注和好评，为此他组织的中国將军书画研究院还获第五届公益中国最佳社会责任艺术机构大奖。曾获“全国百杰书画家”，“和谐中国十大公益艺术家”，“德艺双馨书画名家”，“人民書畫家”，“新时代艺术名家”，”中国书画名人百杰”，“国际艺术名家”等荣誉。入选2023年福布斯中国（艺术福布斯）十大名人。获文化和旅游部艺术发展中心颁发的“中国书画艺术名家张永金工作室”匾牌，获全国首批非遗传承人名家工作室组委员颁发的“全国首批非遗传承人张永金名家工作室”铜牌。

Zhang Yongjin, also known as Mu Ren, was born in 1943 in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu. I loved calligraphy from a young age and later joined the military. At the age of 23, I was transferred to work at the headquarters of the Central Military Commission until retirement.

In 1985, Li Duo and Xia Xiangping were invited to join the Chinese Calligraphers Association. He is currently a national first-class calligrapher, a master of Chinese international art image, a national ceremony artist, and a specially invited art consultant for the national guest ceremony. Vice Chairman of the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, Vice Chairman of the China Central Radio International Cultural Exchange Art Committee, Vice Chairman of the Boao Asian Art Talent Research Center, Hurun Expert of the Beijing Hurun International Art Appraisal Center, Art Committee Member of the Central Media Culture Organizing Committee, Art Advisor of the China Film and Television Art Center, Advisor of the China Bookmaking Art Research Association, Executive Dean of the China General Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Honorary Dean of the China National People's Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Distinguished Professor at the Oxford School of Arts, member of the editorial board for the "Sea of Calligraphy Characters" and the "Dictionary of Calligraphy".

The Second King of Calligraphy, a famous master of calligraphy, is good at running grass. His works have both traditional skills and the Zeitgeist, and are praised by both refined and popular tastes. The style is simple and distant, grand and elegant. In 2001, he held a solo exhibition in the National Art Museum of China, which was well received. CCTV and China National Radio made news reports. Participated in numerous international and domestic large-scale book exhibitions, selected dozens of calligraphy collections and celebrity dictionaries, and engraved multiple stele forests and door plaques. Edited domestic and foreign stamp albums such as Artists on the the Belt and Road China's New Silk Road, Impression on French Stamps, Chapter of China's Hall of Fame Artists, and Masterpieces of International Stamps. His works have been published, including "The Art of Inscription Calligraphy", "A Brief Introduction to Zhang Yongjin's Calligraphy Art", "Wandering Calligraphy", and "Selected Works of Zhang Yongjin's Calligraphy". Among them, "The Art of Inscription Calligraphy" is praised as a "move to fill the theoretical gap in calligraphy". Participated in the editing and publishing of calligraphy reference books such as "The Sea of Calligraphy Characters" and "The Great Achievement of Chinese Calligraphy Art", and the chief editor published a collection of calligraphy and painting works by General Ruo. There are videos such as "Chinese Artists: Zhang Yongjin" and "Chinese Cultural Figures: Zhang Yongjin" playing online.

He is enthusiastic about public welfare and has launched several disaster relief seminars, donating all the proceeds from the charity sale to the construction of the disaster area. Donate love and works frequently. He organized a joint effort between veteran generals and caring entrepreneurs to aid the construction of General Hope Primary School in the revolutionary old areas, which received widespread attention and praise from all sectors of society. Therefore, his organization, the China General Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, also won the 5th China Best Social Responsibility Art Organization Award for Public Welfare. He has been awarded honors such as "National Hundred Outstanding Calligraphers and Painters", "Top Ten Public Welfare Artists in Harmonious China", "Famous Calligraphers and Painters with Both Moral and Artistic Characteristics", "People's Calligraphers and Painters", "New Era Artists", "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Celebrities Hundred Outstanding", and "International Artists". Selected as one of the top ten celebrities of Forbes China (Art Forbes) in 2023. Received the plaque of "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artist Zhang Yongjin Studio" issued by the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the bronze medal of "National First Batch of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor Zhang Yongjin Studio" issued by the members of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor Studio Group.
