这是一封情书，又同时是佛家和道家学习的心得，通过一个缘字把两种学说解释清楚我们如何把握缘分。

我记得，你好像问过: 我信不信缘分？我没有马上回答你。因为我，回答信与不信，都不是我一个人能完整回答的问题，应该由我们一起来回答，对吗？

假设，非要让我去解说:缘分这两个字的时候，我们就要注意到，缘分是两个字组合在一起的，它里面含有一个《缘》字，一个《分》字

《缘》说过了是包容的意思

《分》字，是分离的意思，这里包含两个意思: 

有缘分的 和 有缘无份的。

所以，缘分是矛盾的，只是现在没有人去认真思考它罢了。

是不是很残酷？

《缘》这个字有很多种解释。

现在我们大多数认知最深的是:佛教的《缘》大概是说天意的意思，天意不可违！

它也是西方人思想的根源，听天由命，顺其自然，不强求，将就着。

但是，我理解《缘》字不是这样子的。我认为它是一种物质围绕着另外一种物质的一种状态，这种状态就是包容。

缘字是由糸边，加一个（彖tuan）字，“彖”字在古字典里面表示猪的意思，猪的唇是上唇突出包着下唇，所以有包容的意思。

要包容，就需要互相信任，互相理解，互相融合，互助共赢，互相缠绵。

它是需要两件物体去缠绵，又或者是两个人一起去经营，去合作，离开你和我，都不成立。

我本人是一个唯物主义者，学的是中华民族文化的思想，这个思想体系是由我们《道家》思想支撑的。

它的核心内容就是: 庄子和老子提倡的:  天地人和，礼之用，和为贵，王之道，斯之美。

它是中华民族独有的一种处世观念。

人可以胜天，是一种思维方式。

因为，天和地是固有的存在，人活在它们的中间，天要刮风下雨了，我们是不是要躲起来，不让雨淋，地要塌下去，山崩地裂的时候，长江大堤要塌方的时候，我们是不是要去堵上，不让它们泛滥成灾，影响我们的生命，肚子饿了，我们是不是要去种粮食，口袋空空的时候，我们是不是要去工作赚取生活费用？等等。

所以，我们中国人和西方人的思维方式最大区别就是《不听天由命》

我有我的思维方式和我的审美标准。

I remember, you seem to have asked: do I believe in fate? I didn't answer you right away. Because I, whether I believe it or not, is not a question that I can fully answer alone. We should answer it together, right?

Suppose, I have to explain: when fate is two words, we should notice that fate is a combination of two words, which contains a word "fate" and a word "Fen"

"Fate" has said that it means tolerance

The word "Fen" means separation, which contains two meanings:

Predestined and not predestined.

Therefore, fate is contradictory, but now no one seriously thinks about it.

Is it cruel?

There are many explanations for the word "Yuan".

Now most of us know the most deeply: the Buddhist "Yuan" probably means the meaning of the divine will, which can not be violated!

It is also the root of Western thought. Let nature take its course, don't force it, make do with it.

However, I understand that the word "Yuan" is not like this. I think it is a state in which one substance surrounds another substance. This state is tolerance.

The word "Yuan" is composed of a series of edges and a word "Duan". The word "Duan" means pig in the ancient dictionary. The lip of pig is that the upper lip protrudes and covers the lower lip, so it has the meaning of tolerance.

To be inclusive, we need mutual trust, mutual understanding, mutual integration, mutual assistance, win-win results and mutual entanglement.

It requires two objects to linger, or two people to operate and cooperate together. It doesn't work without you and me.

I am a materialist myself. I study the thought of Chinese national culture. This ideological system is supported by our thought of Taoism.

Its core content is: Chuang Tzu and Lao Tzu advocated: harmony between heaven, earth and people, the use of ceremony, harmony is precious, the way of king, and the beauty of Si.

It is a unique concept of the Chinese nation.

It is a way of thinking that man can win the sky.

Because heaven and earth are inherent. People live among them. It's going to be windy and rainy. Do we want to hide from the rain, the earth will collapse, the mountains will collapse, and the levee of the Yangtze River will collapse? Do we want to plug them, so as not to let them flood and affect our lives? Are we hungry, do we want to grow food, When our pockets are empty, do we have to work to earn living expenses? wait.

Therefore, the biggest difference between our Chinese and Westerners' way of thinking is "don't listen to fate"
