The first national media report on Yimeng painting school: Science and technology newspaper in 1990 (dozens of central, provincial and municipal reports such as CCTV, people's daily and China Daily in the past 30 years).

风格特点：以山东临沂所属3区（历史上有金雀山汉墓、王羲之）9县的费县（历史上有颜真卿、沂蒙小调诞生地）、蒙阴（孟良崮）、沂水、兰陵、平邑、沂南、莒南、郯城、临沭的沂蒙山的山水（崮，等自然地理特色）、人文、风情，为主要表现载体。

Style features: Feixian County (the birthplace of Yan Zhenqing and Yimeng minor in History), Mengyin (MEng Lianggu), Yishui, Lanling, Pingyi, Yinan, Junan, Tancheng and Yimeng Mountain in 9 counties of Linyi district (Jinque mountain Han tomb and Wang Xizhi in History), Linyi District, Shandong Province, are the main expression carriers.

沂蒙画派创始人刘阳先生学术活动：自1988年北京荣宝斋出版《刘阳画集》，已出版个人著作几十部、自1987年已应邀举办个人书画艺术展五十多次（包括2001年山东省文化厅主办，北京中国美术馆举办“世纪沂蒙.刘阳画展”）。
