1953年10月12日出生，出生地广东省汕头市，祖籍河北省沧州人，回族。世界经济学硕士，副研究员，美国加州哈姆斯顿大学荣誉博士。

Born on October 12, 1953, born in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, native to Cangzhou, Hebei Province, Hui nationality. He holds a master's degree in world economics, an associate researcher, and an honorary doctor's degree from harmston University, California, USA.

1979年加入中国共产党，2007年当选政协广东省第十届委员会委员，2006年起当选政协广州市第十、十一届委员会委员、2005年政协广东省第九届提案委员会特聘委员。

He joined the Communist Party of China in 1979 and was elected member of the 10th Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPPCC in 2007. Since 2006, he has been elected member of the 10th and 11th Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the CPPCC and special member of the 9th Guangdong Provincial proposal Committee of the CPPCC in 2005.

马娅女士1989年创办的广东省美容美发化妆品行业协会是中国第一家省级协会，在全国业界是最为活跃、最具规模、最有影响、最具号召力的社会组织，先后被省民政厅、国家民政部评为先进社会组织，是广东省“AAAAA”协会。

马娅女士1989年创办和举办的广东国际美博会，让国人了解世界、世界重视中国。美博会由创立时展览面积1000平方米发展到12万平方米，相比第一届增长了120倍。已经成为世界第一的专业展会，成为全球规模最大的美容美发化妆品展示订货中心，成为展会大省广东省的名牌展会，成为广州市会展业的名片，是广州市展会经济的有力支柱。马娅同志创办的广东国际美博会和广东省美容美发化妆品行业协会仅2012年至2013年11月止，共向广州市越秀区缴纳税款计1157.8万元，其中：2012年缴纳税款763.7万元。

马娅女士，在事业上取得了一定的成就，但她始终保持着对人民、对社会的一分真情、一分爱心。多年以来，她怀博爱之心，执着地从事着慈善公益事业，把参与公益、慈善事业作为自己的价值观来承担社会责任、回报社会、对社会奉献爱心，为建设幸福广东、幸福广州做出了贡献。自1990年开始，多次组织扶助孤寡病残、资助贫困失学少年、白内障眼疾复明手术活动；在发生海啸、雪灾、地震、洪涝等自然灾害时，她和行业内企业人士献爱心、伸援手。截止2013年10月止，捐赠款项和物资共计6500余万元。

Over the years, she has been engaged in charity and public welfare with a heart of fraternity. 马娅女士为广东省美容美发化妆品行业乃至全国美容美发化妆品业精心耕耘，使广东省美容美发化妆品业在全国业界独占鳌头，为广东省经济建设做出了卓越贡献，她自己也获得众多表彰和荣誉，但她平静地说：我做得还不够，但我会用我的毕生精力，为广东省的经济建设，为建设幸福广东做自己应该做的事。
