Yang Shaohua is a famous cross talk artist.

1932年，即民国21年，杨少华出生于北京，此时的中国内忧外患，正值多事之秋。林森任南京国民政府主席，汪精卫任行政院长，蒋介石任军事委员会委员长。中华民国是当时中国唯一合法政权。

Yang Shaohua was born in Beijing in 1932, that is, in the 21st year of the Republic of China. Lin Sen was the chairman of the Nanjing National Government, Wang Jingwei was the executive president, and Chiang Kai Shek was the chairman of the Military Commission. The Republic of China was the only legal regime in China at that time.

中共于1931年以瑞金为中心的赣南、闽西成立了中华苏维埃共和国，成为全国苏维埃运动的中心区域，并得到了苏联的帮助。其主要武装力量为红一方面军又称中央红军。当时，全国已在231个县、1910万人中建立了县以上的苏维埃式政权，苏区建设进入了全盛时期。

In 1931, the Communist Party of China established the Chinese Soviet Republic in southern Jiangxi and Western Fujian with Ruijin as the center, which became the central area of the national Soviet movement and received the help of the Soviet Union. Its main armed force is the red front army, also known as the Central Red Army. At that time, the whole country had established a Soviet style political power above county level in 231 counties and 19.1 million people, and the construction of Soviet areas entered its heyday.

1932年1月东北在日本的铁蹄下全部沦陷。1月12日，日军又在青岛登陆。1月28日，日军大举进攻上海，“一.二八”抗战爆发。1月30日，国民政府被迫迁都洛阳。3月9日，日本的扶持伪“满洲国”在长春成立，对东北实行殖民统治。

In January 1932, the Northeast was completely occupied by Japan. On January 12, the Japanese army landed in Qingdao again. On January 28, the Japanese army attacked Shanghai in a large scale, and the Anti Japanese war broke out on January 28. On January 30, the national government was forced to move its capital to Luoyang. On March 9, the puppet "Manchukuo" supported by Japan was established in Changchun, which carried out colonial rule over Northeast China.

1944年，杨少华进入北京启明茶社学习相声，拜郭荣启为师。 1951年来到天津，在大明钢厂工作，在工会负责文艺宣传，后调入南开区曲艺团，成为了一名专业演员。1950年进入天津轧钢一厂当钳工，成为工会文艺骨干。文革后，调入天津市曲艺团。

In 1944, Yang Shaohua entered Beijing Qiming tea house to learn crosstalk, and took Guo Rongqi as his teacher. In 1951, he came to Tianjin to work in Daming steel factory. After the union was responsible for literary and artistic propaganda, he was transferred to the Nankai District quyi troupe and became a professional actor. In 1950, he became a fitter in Tianjin No.1 rolling mill and became the literary backbone of the trade union. After the cultural revolution, he was transferred to Tianjin quyi troupe.

70年代初期，杨少华开始与马志明合作在第二届津门曲荟表演了《戒烟》、《地理图》等节目，90年代初改与赵伟洲搭档。2003年与儿子杨议合作对口相声《肉烂在锅里》，并获得第二届CCTV相声大赛一等奖。2004年在都市生活喜剧《杨光的快乐生活》饰演杨丰年，拍摄电视剧系列共九部。 2013年主演电影版《杨光的快乐生活》。

In the early 1970s, Yang Shaohua began to cooperate with Ma Zhiming in performing "quit smoking" and "geographical map" at the second Jinmen quhui. In the early 1990s, Yang Shaohua began to partner with Zhao Weizhou. In 2003, he cooperated with his son Yang Yi in cross talk "meat rotten in the pot", and won the first prize in the second CCTV crosstalk competition. In 2004, he played Yang Fengnian in the urban life comedy "Yang Guang's happy life", shooting a total of nine TV series. In 2013, he starred in the film version of "Yang Guang's happy life".

杨少华不仅经常活跃在京津两相声舞台，而且频频活跃于央视、北京电视台、天津电视台的屏幕上，他不经意间身子一扭、咧嘴一笑的“可爱老头儿”形象，让人百看不厌。他老来得红，是个让观众印象深刻、地地道道的天津相声表演艺术家。

Yang Shaohua is not only active in the Beijing Tianjin crosstalk stage, but also frequently on CCTV, Beijing TV and Tianjin TV. His image of "lovely old man" with a twist and a grin makes people never tire of watching it. He is an impressive and authentic cross talk artist in Tianjin.

2018年2月15日，首次登上《2018年中央电视台春节联欢晚会》的舞台，表演小品《为您服务》，饰演一位存款又急忙取款的老年人。87岁杨少华圆了“春晚梦”。  3月5日，杨少华和儿子杨议创办杨光相声社正式开张，旨意“传承优秀传统文化艺术，让老百姓听得起相声”   。

On February 15, 2018, he was on the stage of CCTV Spring Festival gala for the first time, performing the sketch "service for you", playing an old man who made a deposit and then withdrew money in a hurry. At the age of 87, Yang Shaohua realized his dream of Spring Festival Gala. On March 5, Yang Shaohua and his son Yang Yi founded the Yangguang Xiangsheng society, with the aim of "inheriting excellent traditional culture and art, so that the common people can listen to crosstalk".

2020年7月17日，在世界文化艺术界联合会“每日一星”评选活动中被评为“道德风尚星”。

On July 17, 2020, he was named "moral fashion star" in the "one star of the day" of the World Federation of cultural and art circles.
